Not sure the web search for images is working

The web search for images has stopped producing anything useful, seem to get mainly map tiles

The in-game web search should probably be removed. In the early days of Roll20, it was useful, but eventually Google pulled its API, making it impossible to continue getting new results. Roll20 decided to keep using the cached results, because there were a significant number of them. The problem is that since the list is no longer dynamic, it has become less and less useful over time as sites go dark or assets are deleted. It would be better to search for assets using an external google image search. You can also check to make sure your search is not constrained to map tiles due to the drop-down selector at the top of the art library tab.

Tried that but still map tiles, perhaps duckduckgo would work better

Go with a regular google.com image search.
