My name is Hypnos and I want to try and
find a game that is both 3.5e and set in the Forgotten Realms. It is
a favourite setting of mine and I have DMed and played in it for
years. I am extremely experienced when it comes to character
creation, working within the bounds of the rules and getting along
with other adventurer types. I have played every class repeatedly (as
PCs and with NPCs), so I am fine with filling gaps in a group. I am a
very interactive player (asking questions, etc) and never end up a
wallflower.
My preferences for a game below:
* A game that is an even mix of
roleplay and otherwise. Combat heavy campaigns tend to bore the life
out of me, because there isn't any character development. Having an
actual story is pretty essential.
* A long term game, since a short term
one would not really be that interesting to me.
* Not pre-made or pre-determined
characters. Most of the fun is creating your own adventurer, after
all.
* A game that is not on Friday,
Saturday night or Sunday. Those are my busy days. A Saturday morning
game would be fine and would likely be a preference. Monday night
would be fine also, if more than one player is needed.
* A game that doesn't use cameras and
microphones, as I possess neither. I prefer text based games.
* The ability to sit in on a session so
I can see how your game works and how the players interact.
Things also Needed:
* A Mature game, please, where the
entire thing isn't just people screwing around. Joking around is
fine, but the entire game being a joke isn't really fun for me.
* Basic use of proper words and
sentences. Being around people who RP like they're texting makes me
lose my mind. * A game that does not fail after one or two weeks, as seems to be my luck when seeking games to play in.
So, in summation: a long term, story
heavy, text based, mature game (with people that don't flog the
English language to death) on Saturday morning or later Monday.
I know I'm probably casting a pretty
narrow net here, but I figured I'd give it a shot. Thanks in advance!
