Player LFG Pathfinder Saturday or Sunday where I can play one of two character ideas.

And not particularly min-max-y ideas. I enjoy RP primarily, and a lot of their flavor comes from the RP. First is a knife throwing harlequin. Almost certainly a bard and probably a street performer or just a straight bard. The idea is pretty simple, I think! A high perform comedy/dance for fun and dishing out darts for the first few levels until she starts throwing knives and more interesting things. Probably amplified eventually with the use of a blinkback belt. No, not a particularly strong combat character, but I'm going to try to make every battle at least a little hilarious. Second is a kensai blackblade magus played in the most stereotypical fashion. By which I mean she has a katana. The idea is to play her as a weapon obsessed geek with an absurd appraise score who quickly gets in far over her head. Seeing as the blackblade is sentient, it'll probably only encourage the feeling as it's going to be egotistical enough to enjoy the fawning.
Only Pathfinder? A knife throwing harlequin could be awesome in a lot of games.. Especially if you enjoy RP. :-p
I'd do more than pathfinder :P I'm pretty proficienct with 3.5. Fate's pretty great at most things. I could sorta make it work in Burning Wheel, not sure about many other systems, but I'm willing to learn them.
Well - don't dismiss this offhand without reading please :-) - I'm running a New World of Darkness campaign set in the Star Wars universe. It's called "The Dead Jedi Chronicle" - just give it an honest look over, you might be surprised. The game is story and character-driven. You could theoretically play this, and advance your character, without ever getting into combat. (You won't because of some of the other players, but you COULD. :-p The point is it's RP-oriented, not battle.) And yes, you can play a knife-slinging harlequin.. https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/842749/lfp-the-d...
I'm not familiar with New World of Darkness, but there's nothing wrong with learning a new system. As far as Star Wars goes, I'm -somewhat- familiar with it? I mean, I've played most of the video games + read a few of the Rogue Squandron novels... over a decade ago now. I mean, I like to think I have a better understanding of it than George Lucas did when he wrote the prequels, but who doesn't think that? So I'm willing to give it a try.
