Flip maps and snapping to grid

Hello, Ok so I am building a map from scratch in roll20 and have run into 2 main issues. 1. There is no option to flip the maps horizontally or vertically. All the answers I've seen say to right click on selection and it will be under advanced, but the only advanced options are to group/ ungroup? 2. When I select a part of the map and move it or copy/ paste it, it doesn't snap to the grid. I am building a large castle like structure with a lot of repeating parts and really don't want to spend a lot of time redrawing/ eyeballing the alignment. Any help would be appreciated.

1. If you haven't already, you might try refreshing your browser with the game, or logging out and back in. I just checked, and right click>advanced gives me: group, ungroup, is drawing, flip horizontal, flip vertical, set dimensions, and align to grid. That is on the map layer. On the token layer, align to grid is not there. So you should be seeing the flip options for sure. If they don't appear, then you might want to run through the troubleshooting steps to be sure you don't have something interfering somehow. https://wiki.roll20.net/Solving_Technical_Issues 2. This is normal behavior. If you haven't set the "is drawing" flag in the advanced right click menu, then it will snap as soon as you move it. I think when you paste a copied image, it appears centered on wherever you clicked, which can be handy for some things.

Yes I am on the background layer. all I get under advanced is the group/ ungroup. No is drawing, flip horizontal, flip vertical, set dimensions, and align to grid. Tried refresh, tried in both firefox and chrome (both latest release), ran through those troubleshooting steps, tried on another laptop, am using linux but also tried in windows, same issues. I tried to build this a month ago but stopped cause I was getting frustrated by the same problems. Why would it only show some advanced options but not others?

Drawings made with the drawing tools don't have a flip option. Only Graphics have that. You can take a drawing and grab the scaling tools and pull them across the opposite side to reverse them.

No idea. At the moment I am on a windows machine at work, but my main computer at home is always running some flavor of linux (dual boot linux, no windows OS installed). I haven't run into that sort of issue before on various distros, so I don't think it is likely to be a linux issue (although anything is possible). The only thing I could think of is some sort of browser extension messing with things, but one of the troubleshooting steps is to remove all that to be sure there can't be any issues along those lines.
Thanks The Aaron, i saw that some people are using gimp, so I might just use that. Idk if it is an extension either because I tried in my chrome browser, which is clean and has no extra addons/ extensions cause I don't use it, and on my other laptop, which is a bare bones used for word processing/ spreadsheets/ don't really use the internet on, neither firefox or chrome work. I'm also using ubuntu which if any linux flavor should work its that.
