Complex Formula for Die Calculations

Hello, I am currently attempting to automate the level scaling hemocraft die from the Blood Hunter class. I currently have come up with this formula for the self damage die calculation which correlates with the official scaling. (Putting this in my 5e character sheet) The scaling goes with the leveling like this: 1d4, 1d4, 1d4, 1d4, 1d6, 1d6, 1d6, 1d6, 1d6, 1d6, 1d8, 1d8, 1d8, 1d8, 1d8, 1d8, 1d10, 1d10, 1d10, 1d10 (all the way to level 20) This is the formula I came up with, which I checked with math: 1d(4+(2*(floor((((@{level})+1)/6))))) I believe that this formula is too complex for the system to handle because when I try to input it, it always rolls a 1. I experimented with it for awhile and I think the formula field works up to a certain level of complexity. Can anyone help me with this or know a way to get this to work? I am not familiar with macros and I am not DM, so I am restricted to character sheet formulas, unless someone is willing to guide me.

try [[ 1d[[ 4+(2*(floor((@{level}+1)/6))) ]]  ]]
