Is it only black for you? If it is black for everyone, the first thing to check is that if Fog of War is active, it has been cleared. For any further diagnosis, the GM would need to post here, with screen shots of settings. There's just too little that a player has any control over. You could check to make sure that you are running either Chrome or Firefox, though.
