Hi! After using the Legacy Sheet in our first 13th Age session, I'm digging into macros and would like to share some insights. Quite often 13th Age grants a bonus if a character reaches level 5 or level 8, like multiplying the damage bonus from an ability score (lv 5-7: 2x, lv 8+: 3x). However programming this for macros may prove to be difficult, so here is my solution you may find useful and saves yourself some time. Add a new Attribute to your character sheet by clicking the button "+ Add" at "Attributes & Abilities". Set "Name" to "level-mod", "Max" to "3", and insert under "Current" [[{{[[floor((@{level}+1)/3)]],0}>2}*([[floor((@{level}+1)/3)]]-1)+1]] Use "@{level-mod}" in your macros wherever needed (example below). The core of the formula is [[floor((@{level}+1)/3)]] This increments your character's level by one, divides the sum by three and rounds down. So e.g. level 4 matches to 1, level 5 to 2, level 8 to 3. However this does not work for level 1, resulting in 0 instead of 1, so a condition for this case is needed. Conditions in Roll20 macros are not very intuitive, so the above formula is needed. To show the usage of this attribute, let's use it in a macro: Strong Recovery Enter the Feat in your character sheet. Then click the "Show Macro" box. You will see this default text: &{template:13thage_power} {{character_name=@{character_name}}} {{character_id=@{character_id}}} {{name=@{name}}} {{type=@{type}}} {{usage=@{usage}}} {{text=@{description}}} When clicking the 20-sided die next to "Daily uses left", basic information about this Feat will appear in the chat. If you want to use a (strong) recovery instead whenever clicking the die, replace the macro text with this: &{template:13thage_generic} {{character_name=@{character_name}}} {{character_id=@{character_id}}} {{name=@{name}}} {{recovery=[[(@{level-mod}+@{level})@{REC-die}k[[@{level}]] + @{CON-mod}*@{level-mod}]]}} Test it by clicking the 20-sided die. Now taking a recovery calculates your Constitution modifier correctly and also removes the 1 to 3 lowest dice from the result. After some testing you may like to use the attribute "@{level-mod}" for your macros, e.g. for attacks or spells. Feel free to use another name for it, if you like, it's just what came into my mind when I started this little project. Happy gaming!
