Thank you all!"   Says: "Let me go get something for you here. Hold on a minute."   Big Al comes back with a suit of chain mail in his hands.   Flint Frostbeard: starts picking flowers from grass   Roqar: "If nobody wants it, maybe we can sell it?"   Flint Frostbeard: "A fine idea, coin is always needed."   Alfonse Kalazorn the Retired Sheriff Says: "It's Elven Mithral chain mail with some magic tied to it to help you avoid blows."   Flint Frostbeard: "OI! Tis magic!?"   Dungeon Master (GM): [it's a +1]   Roqar: "Hm, Mithral elven, that means its light enough for me"   Flint Frostbeard: "That's even better than my chainmail right now..."   Buddy D.: take it roqar that would really help you out   Dungeon Master (GM): Mithral is a light, flexible metal. A mithral chain shirt or breastplate can be worn under normal clothes. If the armor normally imposes disadvantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks or has a Strength requirement, the mithral version of the armor doesn’t.   Flint Frostbeard: "But! I digress, tis suited for you Roqar! Help thyself"   Roqar: Starts taking off the leather armor   Alfonse Kalazorn: ok so Roqar has it   Roqar: (Need to adjust my AC)   Alfonse Kalazorn the Retired Sheriff Says: "If you are heading back to Conyberry, tell them I am alright now, and that I will need some volunteers to rebuild the barn and smithy as soon as possible."   Willie Belson: says, “ We would be glad to do that.”   Roqar: says, "You bet, will do that for ya"   Alfonse Kalazorn the Retired Sheriff Says: "Again thank you all for your help."   Flint Frostbeard: says, “Anytime. But, keep a sharp eye in case trouble arises again, perhaps, buy guards or something?"   Alfonse Kalazorn the Retired Sheriff Says: "The help you send will be the guards."   Willie Belson: I agree with flint oh ok   Dungeon Master (GM): ok so back on the road we go, it is a 7 mile long trip to Conyberry.   Rahfen: k

Or do y'all like flint enough to keep em?   Dungeon Master (GM): oh ok yea   Rahfen: honestly, I'm fine either way   Dungeon Master (GM): up to you, really you can of course keep flint until he croaks   Rahfen: I'll just stick with flint for now   Dungeon Master (GM): ok that's fine   Roqar: (16 AC now :D )   Flint Frostbeard: (:D)   Zar'Tharkus: is this where we change   Rahfen:  ye   Zar'Tharkus: characters?   Roqar: Yep   Dungeon Master (GM): ok so Ravoprax and Kaiser will leave the party here yes Zar   Willie Belson: brb   Flint Frostbeard: "twas good fighting beside you two. May the roads be kind."   Roqar: (Wears the armor under the clothes, like Bilbo did )   Ravoprax the Dragonborn Fighter Says: "Thanks and may they be kind to you as well", “Here, take the the Talon long sword. I won’t be needing it now.”   ok Roqar   Flint Frostbeard: ties the flowers onto axes   Kaiser the Elf Wizard Says: "I will return to my master and continue to study magic under him, it was a pleasure adventuring with you all."   Flint Frostbeard: underbreath : "Ahhh...my pretty lasses..Soon, a polish, when coin says it" "Yes, and to u too friend!" "Let me know of your study if we cross again"   Roqar: " Farewell Rav and Kaiser, Its been real fun"   Bob Zeissin the InnKeeper Says: "We belive a lot of the Orcs are camping down at the old Savras shrine. Some reports say they are also hiding near the base of Wyvern Tor about 30 miles from here. A Ground did go sniffing around wyvern Tor lead by some Paladin fellow but they have not been heard from or seen in a long while now"   Roqar: "Flint, Flowers with axes? Been hanging wit Faeries or somethin?" (Kidding)   Flint Frostbeard: "My metal is as precious and fine as any maiden. I shall treat it as such."   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, Xar and Prayn can introduce themselves to the party   Xar'Tharkas the Half-Orc Fighter walks to a table and sits down. nods to the watress to bring ale and silently scans the room   Flint Frostbeard: cool   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, the party sees Xar come in, any interactions with him?   Rahfen: what's he look like?   Roqar: Notices the Half Orc "Hey there, you a soldier?"   Rahfen: thanks   Xar'Tharkas the Half-Orc Fighter motions for prayn to join him   Prayn Vigim: follows   Xar'Tharkas the Half-Orc Fighter Says: "Of a sort i was once "   Prayn Vigim: "Tell me. Are you lot?"   Willie Belson: Lot?   Flint Frostbeard: "Once, yes. And...still fighting, but no soldier."   Rahfen: (was asking if y'all were also soldiers)   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "We're plannin on killin some Orcs, you wanna join us?""   Prayn Vigim: Orders a drink during this   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "Never was a Soldier, not my kind of life"   Xar'Tharkas the Half-Orc Fighter Says: "looks to his green hands.... indeed and what orcs pray tell...."   Cherli Marsk the BarMaid comes back with Prayn's Drink and sets it down in front of him.   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "The ones that have been causing trouble in the area, no offense to you"   Prayn Vigim: awkward sipping   Xar'Tharkas the Half-Orc Fighter Says: "i jest.... who could turn down the chance to kill orcs barbarous beasts all "   chuckles   Cherli Marsk the BarMaid Says: "I saw that white dragon flying around again yesterday."
Prayn the Aasimar Warlock Says: "What do you all fight for...? It can't simply be coin, can it? What drives you..."   Willie the Elf Ranger Says: "do any of you want to smoke some green tabbacco"   Cherli Marsk the BarMaid Says: "It flys in a manner similar to a hawk or eagle."    Willie the Elf Ranger Says: "I like to serve justice"   Prayn the Aasimar Warlock Says: "I see. Wait! pipe down a sec." moves over closer to conversation   Zath Zeissin the InnKeeper Says: "Just watch yourselves though, Orcs like to serve man."   Xar'Tharkas the Half-Orc Fighter Says: "i live the simplelive of a mercenary it is always coin that drives me "   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "Seeking fame and fortune, wanting to be the best damn acquisitions Specialist known throughout the lands"   Prayn Vigim: listens in on Cherli moves back to party   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "Could also hunt down that dragon..."   Cherli Marsk the BarMaid Says: "I don't know what more to say about what I saw, it is scary, you don't know when it may hunger the flesh from conyberry"   Prayn the Aasimar Warlock Says: "Well, whatever it may be. I'm too lost, myself, to judge the motives of others too harshly. I wouldn't mind taking my time with you all."   Says: "It sounds like there's a scourge on the people here. Do you have any plans for that?"   Xar'Tharkas the Half-Orc Fighter Says: "grunts agreeing with Pryn"   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "Hopefully not too soon, I'm Roqar, these others are my buddies and your names?"   Sildar Hallwinter the Fighter Says: "I know the way to the Shrine of Savran. So I can guide us there. I have no clue where around Wyvern Tor they could be, however."   Prayn the Aasimar Warlock Says: "Prayn. Prayn Vigim."   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "I'm game, whenever your ready?"   Xar'Tharkas the Half-Orc Fighter Says: "i am Xar'Tharkus "   Willie the Elf Ranger Says: "prayn glad to know you"   Prayn the Aasimar Warlock Says: ""I see. Does anyone here know anything of Wyverns?""   Willie the Elf Ranger Says: "Xar glad to know you too"   Sildar Hallwinter the Fighter Says: "I am Sildar Hallwinter, this group of folks recued me from the Cragmaw Goblin Tribe. They seem to be wanting the location of the Phandevler mines."   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "Wyverns are nasty things, but, the Orcs seem to be the bigger problem"   Sildar Hallwinter the Fighter Says: "Unfortunately they likely know know has they have Gundren Rockerseeker and a map he made."   Bob Zeissin the InnKeeper Says: "Interestly no one here has seen the Wyverns in the area for quiet some time now."   Prayn the Aasimar Warlock Says: "Either way, I'm fine to follow."   Xar'Tharkas the Half-Orc Fighter Says: "as will i there must be some coin to be had in such trying times"   Roqar: (Anyone hurt need to rest first?)   Willie Belson: i   Sildar Hallwinter the Fighter Says: "The townmaster of Phandalin is offering 100 gold for dealing with the raiding orcs."   Says: "We just need to bring back some evidence."   Flint Frostbeard: "I suppose rest could do me well."   Sildar Hallwinter the Fighter Says: "So you folks want to head off to the shrine in the morning to check it out?"   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "Maybe leave first thing in the morning? right after breakfast."   Xar'Tharkas the Half-Orc Fighter Nods then Says: "Sounds good until the morning then"   Sildar Hallwinter the Fighter Says: "It's closer than Big Al's farm was"   Prayn the Aasimar Warlock Says: "I suppose" goes to buy a room for the night   Sildar Hallwinter the Fighter Says: "Bob, let the banshee know the group is heading down there tomorrow morning."   Prayn Vigim: do i hear this?
Dungeon Master (GM): yes   Prayn the Aasimar Warlock Says: "oi, why's this guy talking to a banshee?"   Dungeon Master (GM): any adventurer that met the banshee want to tell Prayn and Xar about it?   Roqar the Elf Rogue Notices the reaction  Its a Helpful Banshee, I know, I met her"   Prayn the Aasimar Warlock Says: "My, my, how delightful. Free wills finding peace, truly beautiful."   Bob Zeissin the InnKeeper Says: "Agatha, helps protect Conyberry"   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "She wont wail and kill ya, she helps the town"   Bob Zeissin the InnKeeper Says: "Conyberry from invaders. Treat her nice, she reciprocates."   Prayn the Aasimar Warlock Says: "Then, we're to get fine rest until Conyberry is raided"   Says: "We should make haste. Dawn shall be here soon"   Zath Zeissin the InnKeeper Says: "sure, if there is not another orc raiding party hitting the town overnight."   Prayn Vigim: sleeps   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, so the party heads to their rooms in the back to sleep, some on the 1st others on a 2nd floor. (To GM)rolling d6( 6 ) = 6   Dungeon Master (GM): nothing happens overnight and the party gets a restful sleep so recovers hit points and spells   Prayn Vigim: stumbles out of room   Willie Belson: rolling d10( 8 ) = 8   Zar'Tharkus: right was thinking the same   Willie Belson: rolling d10( 6 ) = 6 rolling d10( 5 ) = 5   Dungeon Master (GM): what is Willie rolling for by the way?   Willie Belson: hit points for the rest did i mess up   Dungeon Master (GM): no but that first roll was messed up for sure with all the 1's   Willie Belson: yes i saw that   Prayn Vigim: we good?   Willie Belson: my macro is messed i think   Dungeon Master (GM): yes you are all good to go fight orcs now   Roqar: Steps out of her room ready to go   Prayn the Aasimar Warlock Says: "Hey, who had that 'green tobacco' last night?"   Roqar: "That would be Willie"   Willie Belson: me   Prayn Vigim: "Willie, what is that stuff anyway? I've never seen it before."   Dungeon Master (GM): ok pretend the road isn't here   Zar'Tharkus: i to partake   Roqar: "Its Wildwood flower tabbacco"   Willie Belson: we call it wackie tabbaccy   Prayn Vigim: "What makes it so special?"   Dungeon Master (GM): you are traveling through wooded area now, down an old dirt path. let me bring up the world map so you get an idea of location   Rahfen: k we moving south?   Dungeon Master (GM): ok conyberry there on the east side of the map along the Triboar trail and you are basically heading straight south as Sildar the fighter leads the party (To GM)rolling d6( 4 ) = 4   Prayn Vigim: k   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, there are no encounters heading down to the place and it eventually comes into view   Zar'Tharkus: Falls in step just behind Sildar   Prayn Vigim: I keep asking about wildwood flower tabbacco the whole time   Dungeon Master (GM): to your relief there was actually an old dirt road the party basically followed down to the shrine and this is what is seen: A ruin stands in the middle of a vast field north of the rocky foothills of the Sword Mountains. An old stone temple with a belfry jutting from its peaked roof is enclosed by stone walls, many sections of which have collapsed. The trail ends at a crumbling gatehouse, the doors to which were sundered long ago. Three of the four towers that once stood at the corners of the outer walls have collapsed. Only the northeast tower remains, and a guard stands atop it.   Prayn Vigim: "Ah shit." "Fuckin, shrines.."   Roqar: "That must be where the Orcs are"   Prayn Vigim: "Guys, does anyone know what type of shrine this is?"   Willie Belson: damn   Zar'Tharkus: Sniffs the air.... Smells about right
Willie Belson: no sir   Zar'Tharkus: Looks Old...   Dungeon Master (GM): ok i hope you see the names of the places on the map now.   Prayn Vigim: Can I make a history check for the religion of the shrine?   Roqar: "It cant be a good one if Orcs live in it, Whats the problem?"   Dungeon Master (GM): You can do that Prayn. At least where you have been to   Zar'Tharkus: yup   Dungeon Master (GM): ok good   Prayn Vigim: 15 | 11 RELIGION  (4) Prayn Vigim   Dungeon Master (GM): ok now to the shrine map ok and what Prayn knows is   Zar'Tharkus: Chuckles... Prayn will burst into Flames if its a purity shrine   Prayn the Aasimar Warlock Says, “Hmm, this shrine is dedicated to Savras, the god of divination and fate.”   Sildar Hallwinter the Fighter Says, “ Many years ago, the shrine’s priest-seers foresaw a barbarian attack on Conyberry, giving the townsfolk time to escape. Not all the townsfolk chose to flee, but those who did went to the shrine and brought much of the town’s gold with them. The barbarians eventually tracked the townsfolk to the shrine, besieged it, and slaughtered everyone inside.”   Prayn Vigim: "Hahaha...very funny Zar'. It's fine, Eldath doesn't stand here."   Zar'Tharkus: so mayhaps they know we are here...   Willie Belson: lol   Rahfen: perception check?   Dungeon Master (GM): not needed at the moment, setting up map   Prayn Vigim: k   Zar'Tharkus: we may need sneak past the lookout on the shrine Scans around for cover between here and the shrine   Prayn Vigim: "wait.... face lights up  Zar' I got a plan"   Zar'Tharkus: Lets here it   Roqar: "Whats the plan?"   Prayn Vigim: "I use disguise self, and we both go in as orcs, and trick them into coming out of the ruins, and then you all ambush them"   Roqar: "That sounds like a good plan ta me."   Prayn Vigim: "Zar?"   Zar'Tharkus: Agreed   Prayn Vigim: Grins Casts disguise self   Prayn the Aasimar Warlock Says: "though i hate acting like an Orc"   Dungeon Master (GM): it is still daylight as you only traveled 5 miles.   Prayn Vigim: Disguise self doesn't need a check does it?   Zar'Tharkus: not until they lookin at you   Dungeon Master (GM): right now your location at the edge of the woods shows you the front of the shrine and the remaining tower with the orc watching atop of it. the fields all around the shrine is completely level so there is no way to go towards the shrine without being seen.   Prayn Vigim: turns into 6'9" Orc "Alright, can you all ready a ranged attack, while we go in?"   Xar'Tharkas the Half-Orc Fighter looks around then Says: "not many places to hide"   Prayn Vigim: are there trees around? wait, sry u already said that   Zar'Tharkus: nothing but flat field and this building   Dungeon Master (GM): yes, you are still in wooded area that surrounds the shrine, not visible to the guard yet. However, once you leave the wooded area there is an immense flat field surrounding the shrine, with absolutely no place to hide.   Prayn Vigim: "Stay by the trees, and we'll lure them out, okay?"   Dungeon Master (GM): it is of course still daylight.   Prayn Vigim: "Zar', you ready? Put your orc face on"   Dungeon Master (GM): I remind you, you only see the front of the shrine right now.   Prayn Vigim: ok   Xar'Tharkas the Half-Orc Fighter nods putting a snarl on his face   Prayn Vigim: Moves to approach the shrine   Zar'Tharkus: ya this could get hairy fast   Xar'Tharkas the Half-Orc Fighter slowly approaches   Dungeon Master (GM): is he coming down the path to the front gate?   Willie Belson: 22 | 8 STEALTH  (6) Willie Belson   Dungeon Master (GM): Willie there is no stealth here, it's completely visible.   Prayn Vigim: whispers  "What! Willie this wasn't the plan!"
Willie Belson: oh ok   Prayn Vigim: "Get back to the trees for now!"   Dungeon Master (GM): if you both are coming down that path the guard will see you   Rahfen: willie r u still gonna go through with approaching the shrine?   Dungeon Master (GM): so this is for sure now that Prayn himself goes down the path visibly to be seen by the guard?   Prayn Vigim: Me and 'Zar, and remember, I'm disguised as a 6'9" orc   Dungeon Master (GM): ok   Prayn Vigim: leans over to Xar  "heyyyy....u speak orchish right?"   Zar'Tharkus: senses its a bad idea and follows Pryn yes   Prayn Vigim: whispers to him  "Tell them we're here for work"   Zar'Tharkus: So just so I have it right there in the woods hiding and we are drawing an army of Orcs to them ?   Prayn Vigim: yes that the plan, and we are orcs rn and will trick them   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, so then the orc guard sees you both approaching and hollers in orcish, "Company Approaches, Company Approaches from the north, heading to the front gate."   Xar'Tharkas the Half-Orc Fighter Translates under his breath , says: "They’re gonna get hostile fast."   Prayn the Aasimar Warlock Says: "a-ah! yes, okay"   Says: "ahem   yells* "We seek to join your ranks for the glory of Gruumsh!""   Xar'Tharkas the Half-Orc Fighter Says: "Shouts we come to join your Clan we are the only servers of are own band "   Orc #01 the Fighter Says: "seeing Xar, says in orcish, "Ah Looks like we have Vistors, We don't get many, what do you want?"   Prayn Vigim: "There is a town ripe of gold and women just due northeast of here! If we join you, we may tell you all the secrets of their defenses!"   Orc #01 the Fighter Says: "So you wish to join us, there is nothign fancy here. We were chased away by a white dragon from our home."   Says: "Since we need food and supplies, perhaps we will let you in and see what you have to offer."   Rahfen: "Fancy or not! Orc kind mustn't live in squalor! For the glory of Gruumsh, we must return to wealth"   Xar'Tharkas the Half-Orc Fighter Says: "its a trap..... he says under his breath"   Prayn the Aasimar Warlock Says: " whispers  What? Are you sure?" can I make an insight check on the orc?   Zar'Tharkus: no never sure with orcs but they want to see what we have.... prob rob us   Dungeon Master (GM): ok yes   Rahfen: 9 | 19 INSIGHT  (4) Prayn Vigim   Dungeon Master (GM): what is it that you are trying to perceive?   Rahfen: if he's deceiving us   Zar'Tharkus: 12 | 12 INSIGHT  (0) Xar'Tharkas   Dungeon Master (GM): ok you don't notice anything   Rahfen: We can't tell?   Dungeon Master (GM): ok Xar does not notice any hint of a possible lie.   Prayn Vigim: do i?   Dungeon Master (GM): nope   Prayn Vigim: Can I make sleight of hand to ready my handaxe without it being noticeable?   Dungeon Master (GM): sure   Prayn Vigim: 4 | 7 SLEIGHT OF HAND  (1) Prayn Vigim   Dungeon Master (GM): looks like it was noticed   Prayn Vigim: "shit."   Prayn the Aasimar Warlock Says: "Ummm....I ! I! also would like to offer my goods!"   Says: "A fine axe I have here!"   Dungeon Master (GM): ok you hear an exchange with the guard in the tower, it's about if there are any more spotted other than the two at the front gate. a command is given and the gate lifted by 4 orcs, of which then lift the front gate to waist height.   Prayn Vigim: nods towards orcs   Orc #02 the Fighter Says: "Come right in if you wish" are you actually going to enter?   Prayn the Aasimar Warlock Says: "Wait. My friends, I think we've been followed..." turns and points to the trres   Willie Belson: let the bodies hit floooooooor
Orc #02 the Fighter Says: "Followed you say? Lower the gate mates." they lower the gate back down.   Prayn Vigim: turns to Zar   Prayn the Aasimar Warlock Says: "Ummm...Well, what now? Are they gonna attack us or what?"   Dungeon Master (GM): area description of the gate house: The gatehouse is 20 feet high, and its outer doors have been smashed to flinders. A rusty iron portcullis blocks the south exit there is a rubbled filled gap in it's south west corner.   Zar'Tharkus: they shut us out the gate   Prayn Vigim: turns to the trees  lips: "We blew it" Hey, dm, quick question, how strong of a force do you think eldritch blast can produce?   Dungeon Master (GM): [are Xar and Prayn going to just stand there or say anything to the orcs or just turn and return to the woods?] hmm, let me see   Xar'Tharkas the Half-Orc Fighter Says: "Cowards. we will do your dirty work and catch the intruders and prove are worth"   Prayn Vigim: goes fucking white when Xar' says this   Dungeon Master (GM): you can only create one beam that targets one creature with that   Prayn the Aasimar Warlock Says: "Xar! Start screaming! I have an idea!"   Roqar: But wouldt damage the gate if it hit it?   Prayn Vigim: I cast light on the gate   Dungeon Master (GM): it seems more like an electrical force so no   Prayn Vigim: I'd like to cast light on the gate 4 times over   Zar'Tharkus: sorry really heaving trouble keeping up with the typing lost most of both hands in an ied explosion i have good and bad days   Dungeon Master (GM): it is daylight so the light spell on the gate would just show as a car headlight in daylight   Prayn Vigim: it ok zar exactly :D wait, is ti not bright enough to be blinding?   Dungeon Master (GM): heck no, not in broad daylight unless you cast it at the victim's eyes which they can save against   Prayn Vigim: I go back to the tree lines and scream a bunch   Dungeon Master (GM): ok   Xar'Tharkas the Half-Orc Fighter Says: "Come vommesh we will catch these interlopers are selves and use there lives to gain entry"   Prayn the Aasimar Warlock Says: "*HA! HURRAH! DIE FOR THE GLORY OF GRUUMSH!"   Xar'Tharkas the Half-Orc Fighter moves like hes going to fight the intruders   Willie Belson: lol let the bodies hit the floor   Prayn the Aasimar Warlock Says: "ORCS! WE'VE SLAIN THEM, THE COAST IS CLEAR!"   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, i believe at least the guard sees this and maybe the orcs at the gate (4 of them) that see you up the path.   Prayn Vigim: turns to party  "When they open that gate, fuckin fire everything" they do anything?   Dungeon Master (GM): nope just keeping an eye on the two of you.   Prayn Vigim: I go back to the woods   Dungeon Master (GM): ok you disappear out of sight   Zar'Tharkus: so do i   Dungeon Master (GM): alright   Prayn the Aasimar Warlock Says: "Yeah, hey guys, let's just bum rush em somehow. Trickery failed, sry.""   Dungeon Master (GM): you do see another gap in the front wall but the rubble will hinder your progress   Prayn Vigim: any animals nearby?   Dungeon Master (GM): yea there where you are pinging   Zar'Tharkus: wont they see are aprouch   Dungeon Master (GM): of course they will   Zar'Tharkus: approach   Prayn Vigim: "Roqar, Willie, what do you think?"   Zar'Tharkus: So we can ! try another ruse which seems unlikely or attack that spot over there which lol wanna play prisoner or just walk in   Prayn Vigim: "I say we just attack em; but, my last plan flopped so I don't feel I've the right to make another one"   Dungeon Master (GM): you don't have to just come in from the front of the shrine   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "I could be your prisoner, they lift the gate the others rush in"   Prayn Vigim: "Not half bad. How's that sound with everyone?"   Prayn the Aasimar Warlock Says: "Willie, are your arrows knocked?"
Prayn Vigim: "Zar, what do you think? Prisoner scheme?"   Zar'Tharkus: as good as any who ever has concealable weapons should be prisoner   Prayn the Aasimar Warlock Says: "Let's do this then, here, Roqar, stand in front of me and I'll wrap this rope around you (untied, just holding it))"   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "Thats me (As she hides her daggers and shortsword)"   Dungeon Master (GM): so the idea here is that you hope the Orcs think the two visitors were just in a fight in the woods and they bring Roqar out as a newly captive prisoner?   Prayn Vigim: yes   Dungeon Master (GM): alright   Zar'Tharkus: we can always look rougher lol anyone got a disguise kit?   Dungeon Master (GM): (To GM)rolling d6( 3 ) = 3   Prayn Vigim: grabs dirt and rubs it on face   Roqar: 20 | 10 DECEPTION  (3) Roqar   Prayn Vigim: "...wait,  just changes disguise spell to be damaged looking "   Dungeon Master (GM): ok that will work   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "No!! Dont take me in there!! I'd rather die!!"   Zar'Tharkus: but was funny watching u rub dirt on an illusion   Dungeon Master (GM): the orcs see you approach with Roqar now   Prayn Vigim: lol   Prayn the Aasimar Warlock Says: "SHUT IT YA BLOODY ELF!"   Dungeon Master (GM): you are at the front gate now.   Prayn the Aasimar Warlock Says: "OPEN UP! WE'VE GOT A NEW PRISONER!"   Orc #01 the Fighter Says: "So now, what do we have here? You brough along a new friend?"                                                                       Xar'Tharkas the Half-Orc Fighter Says: "Found this elf wench larking in the woods "   Roqar: (Does not speak Orc)   Prayn the Aasimar Warlock Says: "Not just any "friend," a filthy elf"   Dungeon Master (GM): [ok]   Xar'Tharkas the Half-Orc Fighter Says: "enough of this stupidity he growls open the gate or bring out your leader"   Orc #01 the Fighter Says: "I see, perhaps we will let you in."   Xar'Tharkas the Half-Orc Fighter Puts on best ork face   Orc #01 the Fighter Consults with other orcs for a moment.   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "Get your hands off me you damn dirty Orc"   Zar'Tharkus: 10 | 4 INTIMIDATION  (2) Xar'Tharkas   Prayn the Aasimar Warlock Says: " slaps roqar "   Orc #01 the Fighter Says: "Ok, mates, let's lift the gate and come right on in, the three of you."   Prayn the Aasimar Warlock Says: ""Where shall we put 'er (what gender is roqar?))"   Roqar: (Female Elf)   Dungeon Master (GM): do you proceed through the gate of which they only lift to about half your height.   Prayn Vigim: (thnx)   Xar'Tharkas the Half-Orc Fighter prays the others can here the call to rush the opening if he shouts the signal   Prayn Vigim: I walk through the gate with roqar in front of me   Dungeon Master (GM): they can't rush the opening without being seen   Prayn Vigim: can I sleight of hand to cast light and blink the signal to the others   Zar'Tharkus: joins them   Dungeon Master (GM): ok   Prayn Vigim: 20 | 17 SLEIGHT OF HAND  (1) Prayn Vigim that not supposed to have profficiency do the others see my signal?
Zar'Tharkus: haha anyone have a plan now we in?   Dungeon Master (GM): with a roll of 20 yea they saw a signal   Roqar: (Target rich enviroment)   Prayn Vigim: I assumed murder; but, I'm starting to think we made a mistake, hehehe....   Roqar: (Think positive in a round or two odds will be even haha)   Orc #01 the Fighter Says: "Come sit over here by the campfire and start talking about what you know of Conyberry I assume?"   Zar'Tharkus: im an army of one odds are even ...   Prayn Vigim: (did the others see my light signal?))   Orc #01 the Fighter Motions towards the campfire to the west.   Roqar: (The others come running   Dungeon Master (GM): This is a grassy courtyard, which is littered with bones, broken weapons, and shattered armor from past battles.   Prayn Vigim: I follow to the campfire   Orc #05 the Fighter Says: "What do you know that can be helpful (to Xar and Prayn)"   Xar'Tharkas the Half-Orc Fighter Grunts then says: "that this band isnt strong enough to take it on there own"   Prayn the Aasimar Warlock Says: "There's a Wyvern priming itself to attack. We've made friends of the town and can convince them to evacuate. Once, they do, we have you loot the place"   Dungeon Master (GM): [referring to Roqar I assume?]   Prayn Vigim: (I think he was insulting them) (oh, wait no, he mean us) (I think)   Orc Female #05 the Fighter Says: "Evacuate on your word you say? Interesting as the town guards in Conyberry have been very persistant in trying to keep us away."   Prayn Vigim: "Perhaps, you didn't hear me. A wyvern. One big and strong enough to tear the houses apart on its own. They're not gonna risk their lives over that thing." persuasion check? /decpetion?   Dungeon Master (GM): uhmm no   Prayn Vigim: k   Orc #05 the Fighter Says: "Wyverns have not come around here in decades and now you have one very large one to attack the Conyberry?"   Prayn the Aasimar Warlock Says: " I  don't. But, sure enough, something stirred it up from a cave or something, and it's angry."   Dungeon Master (GM): Suddenly the guard in the tower is shouting a warning!   Xar'Tharkas the Half-Orc Fighter Glaces around at the male orcs that surround them   Says: "who is Chief here?"   Orc #11 the Fighter Says: "Dragon! There Be Dragon! Flying in from the south east! It appears to be white!"   Xar'Tharkas the Half-Orc Fighter stands griping hid pole-arm tightly standing to see what danger approaches   Prayn the Aasimar Warlock Says: "MY GOD! SEE! WHAT I SPEAK IS TRUTH"   Orc #01 the Fighter Says: "I am the acting chief here, the white dragon, killed our leader."   Prayn the Aasimar Warlock Says: "Do you figure, you'd like to avenge him?"   Xar'Tharkas the Half-Orc Fighter Says: "looks like hes come around for more"   Orc #01 the Fighter Says: "Avenge yes, for driving us from our home."   Prayn the Aasimar Warlock Says: "Come then, let's see where this wyvern flies at. Perhaps, we may help you slay it."   Orc #11 the Fighter Says: "Dragon coming straight for us!" that is the guard and suddenly you see the beast flying high over head before turning northward (way way out of reach of any missile weapons)   Prayn Vigim: I prepare a reaction attack with Hellish Rebuke   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, in case it returns   Zar'Tharkus: dont think reactions are prepared   Dungeon Master (GM): so now the party knows this dragon is for real   Prayn Vigim: (no? ok)   Willie the Elf Ranger Wonders what all the excitement is about   Dungeon Master (GM): it's does not appear to be attacking you! you folks still in the woods would spot the dragon as it flies north in you direction   Prayn the Aasimar Warlock Says: "Tell you what. We join you, and help you kill the dragon. Then, we sell its hide to make this place a true home for the clan. What do you say?"
Roqar: (Does it seem to notice us in the woods?)   Dungeon Master (GM): i'll roll that and you give be a wisdom perception roll to see if you yourself noticed   Willie Belson: 18 | 23 PERCEPTION  (3) Willie Belson   Dungeon Master (GM): rolling d20( 2 ) = 2 ok, Willie believes the dragon reacted slightly in a way that indicates it may have spotted some of the party.   Orc #11 the Fighter Says: "So as to your plan here to help raid Conyberry for food and supplies. "   Says: "So now you wish to help us slay the dragon"   Dungeon Master (GM): (To GM)rolling d20( 1 ) = 1   Roqar: (Its been fun, but, I have to break for lunch)   Prayn the Aasimar Warlock Says: "I think Conyberry may not find issue with you any longer if you get rid of that dragon." (aight, cya, good session)   Dungeon Master (GM): OK See ya! Thanks for playing!   Prayn the Aasimar Warlock Says: "They may agree to get you supplies, so long as you take that wyvern down. Consider it, like a mercenary job."   Says: "Of course, we'll help too."   Orc #11 the Fighter Says: "so you believe the Villagers would actually trade goods with us?"   Zar'Tharkus: K out of Character arnt we here to kill them we are not actually gonna try to aline them with the town right   Prayn the Aasimar Warlock Says: "People's minds can always change, and common folk love trade more than they love hatred. Business has no bounds; but, they must trust you first. That's where we can come in and convince them, once we prove our mettle and slay the beast, we may soon find you a peaceful new home."   Dungeon Master (GM): [Well, yes if it of course comes to that but already it appears another course aside of killing can be had.]   Rahfen: (idk, this would be cool af to have an orc army on our quest)   Dungeon Master (GM): always possible of course   Zar'Tharkus: if the orcs dont behave like orcs maybe   Prayn Vigim: (I mean. It may be a possibility, idk. Ik orcs are supposed to be less civil; but, they seem pretty desperate for supplies rn)   Zar'Tharkus: im surprised they haven't jumped on us just by how he looks like an or but doesn't talk like one   Prayn Vigim: (do orcs not speak common? only orcish?)   Zar'Tharkus: i guess so i was thinking allong same line but was gonna challenge the orc for leadership   Dungeon Master (GM): [maybe battle wariness and running away, made him a bit humble, along with hunger?]   Zar'Tharkus: well ya u miss understand me i mean the plight friendly thing is outside of their behavior   Prayn Vigim: (idk, half-orcs can be civil. Maybe they're a rare breed, and we can find a way to have some "orc mediator" to trade with the town and stuff)   Zar'Tharkus: maybe im just having a hard time following continue   Dungeon Master (GM): [maybe if other humanoids were here, outside of the captive, they would be more grouchy towards you]   Prayn Vigim: (I do agree it is out of nature for orcs to act this way. But, not everything tends to stick to their nature. I just think it's cooler for the story to progress with this possibility) (good point, we only have 2 orcish looking guys and a tied up elf.)   Dungeon Master (GM): [the orcs are basically trying to see what is going on with the two of you and then the dragon shows up, so the could be even more suspicious now.]   Prayn Vigim: (oh dayum, yeah) (can we wrap up the negotiations/ initiate fight for now though? I gtg at 2)   Dungeon Master (GM): yea we could just stop right were we are and continue next week! I am surprised we even went this long. 3.5 hours. it's the 2nd time it happened for this game. usually last between 2 to 3 hours. So guys Thanks for playing today! Good game!   Prayn Vigim: Ok, that's cool with me. This session was even cooler than the last one, even without combat. It's super frickin nerve-wracking doing the persuasion surround tho Thanks for the awesome session y'all   Dungeon Master (GM): I am giving the others that didn't show until midnight to respond to a post or they might get booted though not Hermit legend   Zar'Tharkus: ok have a great day   Dungeon Master (GM): you as well!   Prayn Vigim: gotcha, dm. Alright, cy'all   Dungeon Master (GM): Bye!
