The game has been very laggy for my players and I ever since the implementation of the new "Dynamic Lighting" was able to be tested. Here are just a few problems: The game load time upon startup takes an average of 1 min, or longer. Sometimes, my players cant get it to load. This is on Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Waterfox. (This happens with/without new lighting) The game itself is very laggy. When trying to edit fields on tokens or character sheets, it takes about 10 seconds for it to respond. This is on Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Waterfox. (This happens with/without new lighting) Some tokens are only visible to certain players and not others. This is present on Chrome. (This happens with/without new lighting)(No, tokens are not on different layers) Ridiculous lag when using the new lighting feature for some of my players. They are using Chrome, Firefox, and Waterfox.Their processors are over heating and they have i7's. Roll20 is using up 3 GIGS! 3 GIGS of ram! This is CRAZY! All in all, with the past few updates (or maybe just the most recent since yesterday) the game has lost some real quality. Even without using the new lighting feature and using "legacy" lighting the game uses up gigs of RAM and is slower, WAY SLOWER, than it use to be. (Yes, all normal and known ways to reduce lag by turning off/on some features such as "update on drop" and "Global illumination" have been taken. It still lags after this update).
