Private Chat with Dice Roll Mechanic

Privately telling someone to make a wisdom save for a hidden threat's mind control is sort of the best protection from metagaming but that's sometimes difficult for Roll20. Is there a way we can have a whisper chat for the host of a game to privately message individual players and make private rolls?

There is an in game whisper command . It is /w "person's name" or /w "character name". This means in a game and I did this "/w Adam this is a whisper" you would get a whisper from me stating what I typed.

You can whisper rolls also. Try "/w person's name [[dice]]". Replace "person's name" with who you wish to whisper to and the double brackets are inline rolls so you can do [[1d6]], [[1d20+2]], or many other things. Now with that said if you are talking about outside the game with the messaging system, those are private messages also but they can not do rolls. I think there is a suggestion in this forum for that already.
