Hey atm we have a role that needs taking over more then anything. We had a player who's in the u.s. military. Thats had to leave the game the biggest problem is his character Lucas is the teams goto "Techie." He is a Natural Genius Glitterboy Pilot. (A member of the three galaxies TMS. "Golden Horde". He's also been to reds (and gotten pretty much the perfect for the character rolls ((ex.I.Q. and some psionics. making him pretty much able to at this point become a gismoteer from south america 2.)) for the style of character.). As a natural genius (nightbane between the shadows) he at present has all but the bio feedback option (I give a +1d4-1 per level ppe for the natural genius.), so in rifts and higher ppe environments like phazeworld he has mdc and supernatural strength (Robotech is very low magic so no mdc or supernatural p.s.). He has a Rune sword named spoil (heroes style enchanted weapon) that he uses both in and out of the g.b. (since it resizes magically for him.). That he got through tricking me, basically they found this odd cathedral. There was this huge two handed sword on the wall (a holy sword). While in his g.b. he used it as a indestructible sword. He's aberrant but the sword couldn't hurt him through the g.b.so for a while he was doing the usual p.c. shenanigans. But then the party went through a "imperfect" circle of travel and met reverse versions of themselves. He in his g.b. saw the reverse of each other and simply handed each other thier swords. Thus lucas got himself a rune sword and had me swearing (not to much though i encourage the players to do stuff and dont punish them for stuff like this) lol. Personality wise Lucas is a bit of a perv.recently the party was on one of thier many crazy adventures and went after the olympus club (pantheons of the megaverse.). ((I've modified them up a bit to fit story but the same basic group. like for example the aphrodite in thier group is a star elf leyline walker.)). The party had just recently got the ability to cast/talisman the love charm spell (heroes/palladium fantasy) lucas used it on the star elf (the party needed the "belt" she wears.) and got the permanent (a possibility of the spell.) love charm on her she is jealously hopelessly in love with him. (She even uses metamorphosis superior to change herself to his whims lol. its a side note but important.). Aside from her lucas prefer's technology over most people, so playing him is pretty open to more development. If you'd like to give it a concerted effort in taking on his role let me know.
