Starfinder?

any starfinder games going on? Possibly interested in joining a game. Been a player for almost five years. I'm also a DM, I also play 5e

It took me a while to find a Starfinder game, so I'm replying here to boost the amount of Starfinder chatter - a lot of D&D 5e going around so Starfinder can seem scarce, but there are games about. Going to "Games -> "Join a game" and doing a search for Starfinder will usually give a few results, depending on filters used and what timezone you are looking for. I was able to find a game there, even though forums were quiet. Hope you find a game and hopefully there's more SF games run in the future.

Yeah, I’d personally love to give the system a shot, but nobody seems to be running it and I’m way too inexperienced to run it myself. I hope we all manage to find a SF game in the sea of cookie-cutter 5e games.

I'm running a game on Wednesday nights (central US time) and have never run the Starfinder game before. There's interest in Starfinder, believe me. Against the Aeon Throne is still free (I think). The best way to gain experience is to just do it! There ends my words on encouragement. 8)

Its not terrible to run, in fact if you can read stat blocks and go over some of the finer things in the core (rules that might be different in game mastery, ex movement and attacking from 5e) and starship combat which can be skipped altogether or worked on after a few vids watching it.  I run a Dawn of Flame game thats been on hiatus for a month now (starting back sunday woot) and cant wait

So I have a lot of free time since working from home i might read into the core rule book again 

I am extremely interested in Starfinder as a player. I wouldn’t want be a good DM at the moment cause I can only DM 5e. I am a huge space opera nerd trapped in a fantasy world. I love RPing deep characters but also love a good OOC joke. I enjoy combat. Honestly, Tabletop is just my jam.

Hi If anyone wants help getting to grips with the system, I can lend my assistance. I've delved into it quite deeply, although I'd need to refresh; been busy with other things for about 6 months now. Also, I'd very interested in playing. I've already played quite a bit in r20 with some other friends, but that's on semi-permanent hiatus, so I'm looking for another game. I love it. I don't have the time (or prior experience as a GM) to GM it myself or I would, but it's one of my goals for the future.  Regards
