Creating Tokens from Compendium

For some reason, on a new game I created, I cannot drag-and-drop monsters from my Compendium onto the screen as Tokens for my players to fight.  Instead, it created a token with a meeple image, and adds the monster to the game as a Character. I have never seen this happen before. Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix so I can drag-and-drop monster tokens again? Thank you. PS

Have you purchased a Compendium, such as the Monster Manual? Without that, monsters are dropped from the free information in the SRD, and do not contain custom art.
Yes, I own the Monster Manual.  Which is why all the monsters show up for me in the Compendium I assume. But for some reason not able to drop them as tokens.
I'm having the same issue. I purchased the Odyssey of the Dragonlords module as well as the Monster Bundle. I can see the custom art tokens in the compendium column, but when I drop them into a map on the module, it converts them to the red token with yellow letters. How can I change that?

The tokens and artwork show up in monsters you have not yet dropped (by clicking on the entry)? Do you see an entry for Mind Flayer? Just trying to see if it's a graphic issue, or a Compendium disconnect. If you can see a mind flayer in the compendium (not necessarily the Journal Tab, since you might already have one in the game), you have the Monster Manual. If not, then for some reason, Roll20 is only feeding SRD data.

I have discovered the problem! It seems there is a problem with compatibility using the D&D 5E Community created Character Sheets.  Any game in which I set up using those character sheets this problem will occur.  But if I switch to using the Roll20 or even some of the other 5E character sheets everything works properly.  Geoffrey, maybe you are also using the same Character Sheets? For what its worth, I am using Firefox for running Roll20.

Ha! Great detective work, Philbo. I hadn't even considered asking about character sheet choice. That bit of info should probably go into the wiki page that describes the pros and cons of each sheet.
