Hi! I'm looking for a friendly group willing to take me in as a player for a Lost Mine of Phandelver campaign/run that hopefully already has a DM willing to run the module. Currently on a budget constraint so I cannot be able to play in paid games (LMoP is currently free 'til May 7, so I'm sorta banking on willing DMs who want to experience it too). I've played a fair bit of 5E over the course of half a year, both IRL and Roll20 (so I am familiar with the system), so I can say I'm not purely a beginner, but there's still likely a lot of things I've yet to learn. Most of the characters I've used so far in campaigns and oneshots are spellcasters, if that helps with my profile as a player. Mostly I lean towards RP, but I dabble a fair bit in combat so it's evened out. In any case, the games I've previously been in are mostly homebrew stories so if I do manage to find a group for LMoP, this will be my first hardcover adventure. :) As a way of giving back, I plan to DM Lost Mine of Phandelver after experiencing it as a player, so this is technically my attempt at familiarizing myself with the adventure first, so I can take pointers when I decide to DM it myself. Times available: Preferably weekly or twice in a week. Sunday afternoons, 2PM-6PM/7PM; Weekdays 8PM-12MN/1AM (except Mondays) (normally not limited to GMT+8 groups but it has to be within a certain time period that can be discussed, I am relatively eager enough to play so I can adjust wherever necessary) I normally use Discord for voice communications.
