Hey there players! Collaborative storytelling is one of my favourite things in the world and I absolutely love meeting people that think likewise. Who am I? I've been roleplaying in one form or another for over thirteen years, and have over five years and 7700+ hours on Roll20 on my belt (mostly spent DMing). Based in the UK countryside and living with a disability, getting out and playing in person was already difficult before the current crisis. Also sometimes such spaces aren't especially LGBT+ friendly.Online gameplay has been my outlet for so long and I'm so glad to see so many new people joining up. I've played with lots of different people and I am used to a wide array of styles and interests, and am looking to get into another homebrew campaign with you! If you would like to find out more about me, feel free to check out my Roll20 profile where you can find out more about me and further links to my other social media, and my testimonials from other's that have played in my games. The Game I am looking for 4-6 players to come and play with me in a world created collaboratively. We would start off with a session zero and use a set of prompts and questions to help us create a completely unique world together where we'll start out adventures. Then, we'll begin thinking of our characters and motivations, including quest hooks, ready to start the first session the week after. Do not worry about having good or bad ideas, following the prompts and questions the world will be constructed bit by bit and allow those sparks of creativity we all have to fuel the collective imagination. Each session would run four up to 4 hours, once a week, using Roll20 to play and discord to speak. Currently the games are Wednesday 1830 GMT+1 but I have people interested in other times already so if you're interested apply anyway and we'll try and work something out. What I Offer I offer a free session zero to all players, and the opportunity to join in with my free oneshots if you can make them. This way you can try before you buy. Every one of my games has good quality maps, usually made using premium assets bought off the roll20 store. All preperation is done outside of game time to a high standard and most of my games are quite free form, allowing players to go off in any direction and explore anything. Often, to enable exactly this I spend lots of time working on unique mediums to explore the 5e rules in fun and interesting ways, such as mini games and employing board game like qualities. I have a Pro account, enabling me to offer Dynamic lighting when necessary (which I love to use) and API scripts to help keep the game running smoothly. All of my games are collaborative, I directly employ the work and creativity of my players into the stories told at my table and allow their character's backstories, motivations, and interests to drive the direction of the narrative. And finally I am always looking to improve, I regularly ask for feedback, run player workshops to help us all get the most out of our games, and work on skill development outside of game time to constantly improve. Interested? What to Do Next If you're interested, then feel free to take a look at the game's listing here. If you have any questions about me, my services, or the game, please feel free to ask below! Your questions might help others that are looking too! Also, feel free to get in contact with me to play in one of my free oneshots if you'd like to see more of my style. I run them regularly and advertise them as best I can, but if I know you're interested I can keep you in mind for when I run the next one. This game will require payment to the Game Master at a rate of £12/$15 per person per session via paypal. Roll20 is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements.
