Make sure that your GM has given you both view AND edit permissions to the character sheet. View only allows you see and click on the character name in the journal to call up the sheet and to see (but not edit in any way) the content of the Bio & Info tab, which would be blank on a fresh sheet. The edit permission allows you to see the Character Sheet and Attributes & Abilities tabs where all your character stats are stored. It also allows you access to the edit button to add text and a portrait on the Bio & Info tab. Basically, doesn't sound like a bug, but like an oversight on the part of your GM when assigning your character sheet.
