Heya, I've had a character concept that I've wanted to play for awhile where a Mystic has learned to deal with her psionic powers by creating a "Mystic Quirk" in the form of: You often speak to an imaginary companion, and act only with its blessing. I have gotten to play the Mystic a couple times, but the normal campaigns I got fell through fairly quickly and the one that actually continued is a homebrewed crossover of Monster Hunter, so very little roleplay and a lot of combat, lol. For this character concept I'm specifically looking for a nice 50/50 mix (or around there) of combat & rp because there are a lot of fun shenanigans and other interactions that can be had when the mystic treats an imaginary companion as a real person. I know a lot of DMs are hesitant towards Mystics and I feel like a lot of that is that there is just so *much* material to them, that no one wants to bother learning it. Rest assured, I know the build path I want to take, I can explain the mechanics that come into play, and the abilities the mystic can use in both rp and combat, taking what is 30 pages of material and condensing it down to 3-5 pages depending on starting level while giving you a reasonable understanding of what my mystic can do. Regards,
