About The Game This is a one-shot, it’s not the whole cake, it’s just a slice. If you are expecting a long-running campaign, this is not the game for you. My goal for this game is to learn the ropes of running a game on Roll20, meet some new people, and have fun. Pitch You know a man that people call The Duke. He is a crime lord that utilizes brutish methods and fear tactics to achieve his goals. Local authorities don’t oppose him in fear of his retaliation. You and a group of others have been individually wronged by his actions. You all agree that his reign of power must come to an end. If you don’t do anything about it, nobody else will. Player Buy-In Getting revenge on a bad guy that has personally wronged your character has to sound cool. Each player needs to have their own reason for going on a revenge driven quest. Everybody needs to hate The Duke for this one-shot to work.
