I never played DnD or any similar table top RPG, i really want to try, I can speak english or spanish and i am from the EU, from +2:00PM GMT+2 to 12:00 PM GMT+2 any day of week for now but when the quarantine ends i most probably would only be able to play +8:00 PM or weekends, i am 23 years old. My only exposure to DnD is watching videos about "That Guy" or about "The Edgelord" or the "Chaotic stupid/lawful stupid" or "The murderhobo", so i am pretty self conscious enough to not be that. I'm mostly for the roleplaying aspect, not so much the combat aspect, i wanna try playing something cool like a wizard or a warlock. I will need help to create the character sheet, i have tried but i can't get my head around it. I have various ideas of characters like a wizard with a cursed skeletal left arm that he detaches and uses it to scratch his back, or a warlock that looks absolutely evil, sounds absolutely evil and gives bad impression but is actually a sweet person and pretty heroic, or a paladin that doesn't want to be a paladin and certainly will not qualify to be a paladin but a god has made him his paladin anyway because the god wants him to be his chosen one, but this paladin will do his best to not be it, he only wants to live as a warrior mercenary not some god's he doesn't even follow chosen one, he will still use the powers, as he is a pragmatic person. Or a sorcerer that loses all his powers when he is not drunk, but if he is too drunk, he well, is too drunk so can actually do anything, or a cleric that is actually a fallen god without any followers, and without any power, he used all his power to incarnate himself as a lvl 1 cleric , and he will spread his own religion by doing heroics as an adventurer, he has the problem that even if he levels up as a cleric science his own godhood is his source of power unless he also spread his religion, he will not be able to use the new spells, he will not have whacky god powers, it just plays like a normal cleric with the exception that he has the handicap that he needs to spread his religion on top of xp to advance as a cleric. I am open to have any character to start learning, but i would prefer a character with magic and some whacky factor, but i do not mind playing any character, except females, i know me and i think that i will do cringeworthy things if i roleplay a female, so spare me of embarrassing myself.
