New World of Darkness Group?

Is anyone interested in starting a nWoD group?
Sure. Timezone and days?
EST/GMT -6, most days work, but I was thinking, Friday, Saturday, or Thursday. We'll run weekly, although it could be more/less depending the group.
I'd be interested. would we be playing with any specific template?
I'm new to both WoD and the Roll d20 app (played virtual tabletops before however), but I've played DnD 3.5 and 4. I recently got a bunch of books from a friend, and the mage stuff looked interesting, if that's what you mean by template.
Unfortunately, I'm at GMT+1, so I probably can't join you.
im interested never played WoD before though. im free nearly all day saturday im GMT+0
Yeah, stuff like mage, vampire, changeling, mortals etc is what i meant by template. just wondering if we were going with a specific one, if you wanted to play with a mix, or what ^^
Well, I wouldn't mind a mix, assuming it makes sense, I don't know how WoD is with different beings teaming up (lore wise..) although we would need someone to DM, probably someone who knows the source material.
It really depends on the creature i nWod. Theoretically any of the types could team up depending on their alliances I think. It's not quite as hard as in the old sytem. Vampires and werewolves still don't get along I believe (been a while since i looked it up) but they aren't like "kill on sight" the way it was in the old system. I might be game now that my schedule is clearing up again. I love nwod mage to the point of obsession, heh. I think i might have parts of it memorized now, to my shame. I like it best when people play as close tot he system as possible. I'm on EST. I could probablly do saturday,
Yeah, the main potential problem with team-ups is that the between-template balance isn't exactly... well, balanced, per se (as far as I know, anyways). But still, whatever happens, I'm sure it'll be fun! And I've read quite a bit of the mage stuff, but never had a chance to play, so even if we only did that, I'd be all over it. Hopefully we'll find someone who wants to be the storyteller ^^ And I can do most days.
should we make a list then to see who is free and who can be GM. Also if worst comes to worse and no one can GM i can read through most the books in a week or 2 and put together a game.
I've GMed mage a bunch of times, but I'm kind of burnt out so I'd prefer someone else do it. I als really love changeling and I might even prefer to do that if it was allowed. But sure, either way.
So Saturdays seem good? Could everyone interested send me a PM, saying if you want to DM or not, and which template you're most interested in.
I'm thinking we set the game in Massachusetts, around Boston and the surrounding towns. Run every Saturday at a time that works for people, using the mage template. This sound agreeable?
look like our NWoD game got cancelled, you guys got room? though I havent played NWoD before
Only had 2 people message me so far, so, looks like we do.
so what stuff do i need to read to start? Also how bout New Orleans for a setting?
Working knowledge of the Mage template, and some cursory knowledge of the setting, I'm going with Boston because there's a sourcebook on it for Mage.
any links for the books for that?
If you have Skype, PM me your Skype name.
Looks like three people have messaged me, (4 for the group counting me) I wouldn't want to go over six.
can i join, IF i free to play whern it on
Should be about full then.
