Upon arriving in Yenelas City, the group discovers there is an active cult known as the Sapphire Song currently doing unknown mystical things in the river. Investigating them further, they learn that they worship Ayk, an ancient river deity once revered in the region before the rising of a city. Searching for the workings of the cult, they found a large flat stone at the bottom of the river carved with Ayk's holy symbol. Upon marring the rune and trying to replace it in the river, the party was attacked by a vengeful Water Weird, which they defeated at great personal danger. Now it's back to the inn to patch their wounds and replenish their minds.
