So I cruised some posts and I think there is a potential group of beginners who are looking for a way to hone their basic skills so they can dive into other games or DM without embarrassing themselves asking dumb questions. At least, that's where I'm at. I would be willing to DM this for any of those interested in learning along with everyone else. The concept is that this will be like a dungeon crawl, a constant string of events. The purpose will be to practice each skill until we understand and are proficient at them: combat rolling, spell casting, ability checking, etc. We can do this in short segments, like two hours, so we don't get mentally fatigued. This should last only as long as it takes to acquire the primary skills, like maybe five sessions or so? By that time everyone will be ready to dive into a complex narrative. I think about five players will be the max so we can stay focused on each learning the ropes (myself included). I'm PST, so that might be a good starting point for getting together a workable group. If you are still on board then answer these three questions in a private message and I will get back to you with the specific. Basic questions: What days? (me, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, but I'm flexible) What times? (me, eightish so I'm done with chores) For how long? (two hours at a time, five sessions) So let me know what you think? Murder Happens
