I've played around for a while in the character sheet and can't quite figure this out. I guess my in person group has been doing crits in a way that is not the written rules for 5E. We have always used a max of any rolled dice, plus a roll of the dice, then add any static modifiers. Roll20 does it the standard way of rolling the dice twice. It's easy to change the regular weapon crits on the character sheet by just putting in a static number (the die number) vs a die roll, there is a place for it. What I can't seem to do is find out how to make the global damage modifier rolls work differently. There is no specific place for crit damage separately in the global damage section. So if I add a global damage item that is 1d8, it always does 2d8 on a crit. I want 8 + 1d8 on a crit. Anyone know how to make that happen? Obviously my macro skills are lacking. Thanks.
