Tokens not respecting default permissions/settings

This is a new issue I've been having across multiple browsers with no extensions running: When dragging a new token (that's not associated with a character) onto the map, it ignores what I have set as defaults on the game settings page. I recall this working previously and am not sure what has changed since. It occurs both when dragging tokens from the marketplace and while uploading images from my computer. Tokens that are assigned to characters keep any changes to their permissions, but not having default permissions adds a lot of previously unnecessary work to creating new characters/monsters. Would appreciate any insight, thanks! These are the game settings: And this is what a new token looks like:

Based on what you put, I can safely say this might be related to an extension you're using. Try it with all of your extensions off. This issue, I believe, might be unrelated to OP's post.
