Character sheet creation.

Hi. I'm new to both D&D and Roll20. I've read a few tutorials, watched some videos and really want to play - it looks amazing! Anyway, I had a bit of trouble understanding character sheets but after a while found D&D beyond which helped me a lot. My question is, is ok/is it frowned upon to use the same character sheet for d&d games - and if it's ok, is it possible to import my character sheet from D&D beyond to roll20 or is it a case of doing it manually? If this is not the forum for this let me know which one I should pot it in and I will get rid of it from here. As a side note - I'd be keen to join any games possible so if there are any groups that would be good for me to join please let me know. As an additional side note can anyone point me towards any really good resources to help a newbie out - It'd be much appreciated.  Thanks for being patient with me.

there is a script which is currently broken (and would require a Pro subscription to use). As I understand, it needs periodic maintenance to retain communication with dndb .json structure and however it imports into Roll20. There is a browser extension that allows communication, but that's not the same as importing a character, and is therefor likely of limited functionality. I've never tested it.
Oh thank you. I don't really understand that but from what I can get - your saying it's not really possible.

Some people do it and swear by it, particularly if they have a substantial investment in DnDBeyond. Myself, I prefer to keep everything together for ease of use.
