Only one token changes when GM info layer contains something

I've tried using the "to back" and "to front" options, to no avail. The token is not on the GM info layer. It's on the token layer, along with the other tokens. As I slide the opacity level for the GM info layer, that one token matches the opacity of the GM layer. The rest of the tokens stay normal.
It sounds like this token is on the GM Layer. Change to the GM Info Overlay using the Toolbar in the upper left. Right-click on the token in question. From the pop-up menu, click Layer , then Token Layer . This will move the token to the Objects & Token Layer.

Is there something else on the GM layer, occupying the same general position?

I already verified this in all the possible ways, including the one you mention here.

I've deleted all map/background objects and kept only three items on the token/object layer: two tokens which remain opaque regardless of the GM layer opacity setting, and one token that follows the GM layer opacity setting. Indeed, I can force the issue to happen by reducing the size of that item in the GM layer then moving the tokens in and out of that area. Consistently, the one token exhibits the opacity change behavior while the other two remain at full opacity. I pulled another copy of one of the tokens that keep their full opacity onto the token layer from the Art Library menu directly (versus copying and pasting). The new copy exhibits the behavior of losing opacity with the GM layer. What is the expected behavior? Should the token/object layer items change opacity along with GM layer opacity changes, or should the token/object layer items remain fully opaque? Is my one token the wrong one, or are the other two tokens the ones misbehaving?
Objects on the Token Layer should not be affected by the GM Layer opacity, which is why I said it sounded like it was on that layer. Now we get into next questions: Do the players see a change to that token? If you drag out another copy of the changing token from your Art Library, does it behave the same way? Was this token in a purchased set or something you created? Anything different about this token's creation? Does the token have a tint or aura applied to it? Have you tried the token in another game you created? What browser and version are you using? Have you tried both Chrome and Firefox? Are you using any browser plugins/extensions? Try disabling those or running in an Incognito/Private Browsing session.

When I turn off Updated Dynamic Lighting, all items on the token/object layer change opacity along with the GM layer opacity changes when there is an item on the GM layer occupying the same space. I have no idea how those two tokens got into a state of unchangeable opacity; I can't reproduce that. I suspect there is a bug with Updated Dynamic Lighting and however those tokens got into that funky state. Is there a way I can grab some info for developers on those two tokens? Dev console, page source, etc... (I am a software engineer of many decades experience, and I'm happy to dig out client-side data if they need it).
