Homebrew Campaign, Possible Podcast (No Cost)

Hello! I am currently working on a (hopefully) Expansive homebrew campaign with the intention of recording through audio, the experience of being an inexperienced DM. I have run exactly ONE homebrew one-shot previously, linked to another DM's game, which I have been told was a generally pleasant experience. I am currently looking for 3-4 additional players, who are into roleplaying and intercharacter dynamics, and would be willing to be patient and flexible when it comes to recording, and growing as players with the DM. I have current written the basis of what I'd like to do with this campaign, and gotten used to what I should expect from my skillset. I hope that this post will generate interest, as I think this experience would be an enriching and entertaining one for all involved. Before the campaign begins, I will be running a one-shot with each player, to give the character means and reason for being in the starting city, and learning how they live and belong in the world I have created. I am PST, and available tuesday—thursday. I would like to play in a forgotten realms game, but don't want to do a module (I've run all of them). I am currently on JST (Japan standard time) Which I know is generally an issue, but will be free depending on my work generally from 1630 (4:30 PM JST) on most days, not affected by the Coronavirus! The game I will be running will be entirely crafted by me, and directly affected by player actions, unrelated to any current module, or campaign settings. I am definitely open to suggestion for requests of skillsets, etc! I am still in the writing phase for the majority of content (Three sessions in and counting) But have fleshed out a some what in depth continent for you as players to run around and enjoy. Hi!  I love the idea of capturing the process of learning to DM and making that available to other people, whether it be by podcasting, by blogging or some other avenue.  I think I'd love playing in your game.  Let me give you a vague idea of  what you'd be getting into  what I think my pros and cons as a player are, so you can see whether you think I fit. I, too, really love  overacting  voicing characters.  I'm told that my voice acting is entertaining, and most (though not all) people find my voice reasonably pleasant to listen to, which is probably a nice quality if you're on a podcast.  I have a good quality microphone and a pop filter, which is an AWESOME quality if you're on a podcast.  I have some experience doing narration in my home studio, so there's a chance I may be able to help debug if anyone runs into difficulties with audio setup.  (It's not a great chance, because a lot of issues are hard to debug unless one's physically there.  But it's a chance!)  I'm a patient person and I view technical difficulties as a natural (and sometimes hilarious) part of the online D&D experience, so I won't get flustered if we have to spend 10 minutes debugging why none of us can see the map or something.  My timezone is technically PDT, but I work for a Korean company so my work schedule is on KST -- exactly the same as JST.  It's a perfect match! Okay, maybe not a  perfect  match.  I've played very little, and it was a long time ago.  I really want to get into 5e, but so far I've only played 4th and 3.5E.  While I'm willing to work hard to master the rules, I'll probably have to ask some dumb questions -- in some cases multiple times, particularly if it pertains to a spell that isn't on my spell list or a condition that I haven't experienced yet.  ("So wait, what does 'restrained' do again?  I thought that was 'grappled'?!")  I have a wacky sense of humor, so if you're not okay with some shenanigans, you probably should not let me play a bard. Let's see… that covers everything I can think of about myself.  I'm happy to answer any questions you have, too, within reason -- I won't have a strong concept of what character I would play until I know more about the campaign, so not that one. ;-)

Hello there, this looks like a really immersive setting that you are setting up and I have DMed before to my friends and being a player is what I really want to do. I'm European GMT+2 and can do Night games on weekends. I have experience with roll20 and are confortable with character voices, hopefully you are open to my sheneinegans! For your information, My thoughts on what to play are either as a Slime, a Harpy or an Ninja Wizard (Conjuration)

I tend to play whats missing or whats needed to round out the party, still having fun doing that.
