Pathfinder- Critical Rolls not calculating correctly

Edited 1588876789
when i rolled the critical on this weapon (1d8+4)20/ x3, it gave me damage of 17. 17 is not divisible by 3, so it must have calculated the damage incorrectly. can somebody tell me how i'm wrong? (because i assume i am)
The x3 means roll damage 3 times, not multiply the damage. 3d8+9 would be the roll. The red 17 indicates at least one of the rolls was a 1, which is why it is on the low end of the roll. I think if you hover the mouse over the 17 you will see the details of the rolls.
Me, right now
