LFP POST ~~~~~~~~~~~ Heya, I'm Res. I've been DMing for just over five years now and am only just now getting around to trying to DM Starfinder despite the fact I've wanted to for well over a couple of years. A couple of quick notes before I get into the game itself: I love new players and would love to help introduce some players to Starfinder. So if you have no real experience with the system but are interested don’t be afraid to try it. Side point to this: Everyone so far in the game has 0 experience with it. So don’t expect pros, we’re learning together. I have been working on this story on and off for the last year so I have a lot written down as far as notes go. Plot/Lore Stuff ~~~~~ Instead of being set in the Pact Worlds from the original core books, this campaign will be set in the Solaran System. The Solaran System is one of the newest expansions of the Pact Worlds and has only fully established one properly sized station among the whole system, and out of the other 14 planets, the Pact Worlds have only just begun to explore and colonize the Solaran System a decade back. In order to expedite this process, the Pact Worlds established an academy meant to educate the future of the new colonies by training the eager youths who wish to be adventurers how to safely adventure and study new worlds as well as solve the issues of the worlds that have already been established. Now, as this game is meant to start at level 1, the campaign will be starting just after all of your graduations. The party is stuck together on a set of missions before they're even given the option of assembling a group on their own. (This can be discussed if y’all wish to have joint backstories seeing as you were in the same school with one another.) Now, this might not sound like much of an explanation, but as far as the story goes, it'd be hard not to spoil anything while going into any further detail.
