Custom macro that never rolls under a certain value with dropdown for extra dmg

I'm playing Warhammer 40k Only War, and i was wondering if it was possible for someone to make a macro for the damage roll never roll under a 3 on a 1d10. I have a weapon Characteristic called PROVEN (X) "Weapons with a Proven Quality always inflict massive trauma and treat any dice roll for Damage lower than the Proven rating (as indicated by the number in parentheses) as if it were the Proven rating instead. Thus, a Proven (3) weapon would treat any die roll of 1 or 2 as a 3 for the purposes of calculating Damage." On top of that, my rifle has a accurate trait so every 2 degrees of success adds 1d10 dmg to a maximum of 2d10. is there also a way to get a dropdown menu for the degrees of success on the damage macro and I have the Giantkiller talent that adds +1 dmg for every size value bigger than my character. Example: I'm a Ratling so I'm size 3 compared to a Ork Nob thats a size 5

You can replace the 1d10 in the roll with {1d10,3+0d0}kh1 This will ensure the roll is never below 3. Depending on how your macro is written, you might need to put inline roll brackets around it (it'll make the output clearer anyway): [[{1d10,3+0d0}kh1]] If you're unsure how to incorporate it, post your normal macro and we can tell you how to include it. But it's literally just swapping out the d10 with the above. For the damage bonus, just use a query [[{2,?{Bonus Dice|0}}kl1]]d10 or [[{2,floor(?{Degrees of Success|0}/2)}kl1]]d10 For the size bonus +?{Size Difference?|0} Incorporating them into an existing macro is up to you! Though if you can post the normal macro we can do it for you.

normally i just hit the button listed next to the weapon. i cant see what the button macro is at all but when i inspect the element on the page, <button name="roll_rangeddamage" type="roll" value="/me does [[@{rangedweapondamage}]] @{rangedweapontype} damage! (Pen: @{rangedweaponpen})" class="btn ui-draggable"> <label>Damage</label> </button> is what shows up. what i would normally roll though is "/roll 1d10+4+3" for the basic roll. Sorry, never took any classes on coding so not really sure how i add those in to that roll. kind of know about he [[ ]] to make it show up in a yellow box but besides that its all over my head Edit: went back to the https://wiki.roll20.net/Macros_-_Pathfinder_Examples page and worked it out mostly does [[1d10+4+3 +?{Accurate Dice| 1, 1d10| 2, 2d10} +?{Size Difference| 1, 1|2, 2| 3, 3}]] I damage! (pen:3) seems to work, for the normal roll, just havnt worked out the not rolling under 3 yet

The bit in side the quotes here: value=" " is the roll macro. /me does [[@{rangedweapondamage}]] @{rangedweapontype} damage! (Pen: @{rangedweaponpen}) So it gets the damage from character sheet attributes. You'd probably want to replace the @{randedweapondamage} attributev there with your roll. So something like /me does [[1d10+4+3]] @{rangedweapontype} damage! (Pen: @{rangedweaponpen}) would be the basic roll. You'd have to add this to an Ability on your character sheet's Attributes & Abilities tab. It wouldnt work as a general macro. Then to add your elements would normally be fairly straightforward, but I just realised a complication. The Proven quality and the ability to get extra d10s arent really compatible. For your query, you'd need to ask for how many dice, like: "0, 1, 2 or more". Asking for degrees of success isnt really an option. But the fact it's limited to 2 bonus dice means it is possible. It's not going to be pretty though. It's going to require html replacements. So the roll is /me does [[ ?{Extra Dice from Success?|0,{1d10&#44;3+0d0&#125;kh1|1,{1d10&#44;3+0d0&#125;kh1+{1d10&#44;3+0d0&#125;kh1|2 or more,{1d10&#44;3+0d0&#125;kh1+{1d10&#44;3+0d0&#125;kh1+{1d10&#44;3+0d0&#125;kh1}+4+3+?{Size Difference|0} ]] @{rangedweapontype} damage! (Pen: @{rangedweaponpen}) If you want to make it a bit more readable, you'd put incline bracket rolls around each kh1 section, like so /me does [[ ?{Extra Dice from Success?|0,[[{1d10&#44;3+0d0&#125;kh1]] [Damage Die]|1,[[{1d10&#44;3+0d0&#125;kh1]] [Damage Die] + [[{1d10&#44;3+0d0&#125;kh1]] [Bonus Damage Die]|2 or more,[[{1d10&#44;3+0d0&#125;kh1]] [Damage Die] + [[{1d10&#44;3+0d0&#125;kh1]] [First Bonus Damage Die] + [[{1d10&#44;3+0d0&#125;kh1]] [Second Bonus Damage Die]} + 4 + 3 +?{Size Difference|0} [Size] ]] @{rangedweapontype} damage! (Pen: @{rangedweaponpen}) Now when you hover over the roll result, you'll be able to tell which numbers are the die rolls and the size modifier. If you want to highlight what the 4 and 3 are, you can put a label in square brackets after them too, like [Something]. I said it wouldnt be pretty...
