Night vision as low light

In the new dynamic lightning system, if I turn on Night Vision for a token, they see in the darkness as bright light. In the 5E system at least, Darkvision turns dim light to bright light and darkness to dim light. I am sure there are other systems using a similar approach. I would like to be able to set Night vision to count as Low Light instead of Bright. Optionally, I would like a Darkvision setting which simply improves light level by one, not two.
I would like to see DarkVision usable as in 5e. This if there is no light I get low light. If there is dim light I get bright light. I'm hoping that with all the rework that has been done on lighting this will be possible in the near future
Yep this is how i setup vision for my players in all games now with the "new" system this is not possible.
Having a characters vision reduced to grayscale in darkness for dark vision (applicable in both 5e and Pathfinder) in unlit areas would be nice as well - this would probably require a settable range (generally 60' in 5e) or unlimited range (for PF) and an option to set low light areas to full light within such a distance (for 5e.)
yes yes yes I agree.
Read the main thread for the Updated Dynamic Lighting (UDL) beta test: https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/8422745/a-new-light-bug-thread-updated-dynamic-lighting-and-fog-of-war/ especially the second post, which lists Known Issues. It also specifies that UDL is planned to eventually offer everything that the Legacy Dynamic Lighting system does (like dim light) and more.
