Downtime: Oscar

It is strange. In the city, nobody seems to comment on your mixed heritage. In fact, you've seen other half-elves walking about openly without shame. But not all groups are equally regarded in Yenelas City. Perhaps due to lingering resentment from the war five years ago, lizardfolk are kept out of the city proper. Perhaps it's because you were outcast yourself, but you find yourself sympathetic to their situation.
After sleeping in the inn Oscar would look into the matter about the lizardfolk and try to find out about the war five years age and well ask question about the Lizard folk to random villagers about how they feel about them. In the end of the day he will searched for the lizardfolk and ask them some question and try to find out why they are force to stay out the city proper and try to gain more information about them.
Finding the lizardfolk is easy, as they have turned most of their homes in the Womar's Road region into artificial swamps, digging trenches and deliberately flooding the floors of their sod homes. As you approach, they are initially suspicious, but one of them recognizes you, and gestures for you to wait. After a few minutes, a tall lizardfolk wearing a leather satchel over one shoulder steps out of the largest structure in the artificial swamp and wades to the edge to look you up and down. As she gets closer, you recognize her as Threthezi, one of the mages Creios gathered when preparing for the attack on the bridge. "What could have brought the little prairie shapeshifter to our little hutch, I wonder." She muses. You get the impression that she is asking you a question, rather than simply thinking aloud.
Oscar replied Hey I'm Oscar and I was just wonder if I can ask you some question. He then ask why aren't the lizard folk around being town treated the same as other races or why can't they be in the town because in my point of view you guy should have the right as other races in town especially since you help during the attack
"Child, do not worry about us. We are forced to live outside the walls, it is true, but inside the walls there is no place for us to make a swamp. Out here, we have more control over our surroundings, and for us that is as important as anything." Seeing Oscar's surprise, she waves one clawed hand. "Not that we would not appreciate more recognition by that king of yours. Not all of my people come from Ithezras, and we contribute to his city's health in ways he refuses to understand. We would not mind a formal embassy. I understand that the king was quite impressed with your little band of travelers. If you get a chance, would you also mention the help an old witch was able to give? That's all we can ask."
Oscar nods his head "Okay Threthezi you got yourself deal I'm going to make sure the king know you and the other people who help during the attack on the bridge you can count on that" Oscar begin to go back to the inn to go back asleep
As you return to the city, you pass through Womar's Road and are hailed by some of the lizardfolk living there, though you do not see Threthezi out among them at the time. Later on, inside the city, you are faced with the fact that less than a month ago you were so poor stealing to eat sounded worth the risk of prison time, but now you possess enough money to feed and house yourself for at least several months. ((You once again have downtime in Yenelas City. You can spend your downtime pursuing personal goals, trying to train in the use of new skills or equipment, or any other task you can think of.))
seeing the lizardfolk Oscar gives them a quick greeting to them then rushing into town to look for someone to identify the magic shield so he can see what special ability the shield has
Asking around, Oscar finds a little shop-running sorcerer who is happy to identify magical items relatively cheap. He asks for just 12 gold per identification instead of the market standard of 15. It turns out that the shield, other than being made of marble instead of more common wood or steel, is only enhanced to provide greater protection for its wielder, rather than granting any unique properties. The enchantments also make it light enough to wield as comfortably as a normal shield. ((This is a +1 shield with no unusual traits other than its material))
