(Done what I can, some things will still need Elee input) Shango Shango retires. His friends and colleagues wish him well, and will miss his presence around the Cohort. Alvah Laurent Alvah picks up Basarji very quickly and successfully learns the language. Eirena Lightshadow Eirena
spends her time with her two children, catering to both their needs as
much as possible. Somehow she manages to balance everything, though
doing so is an exhausting job. By the end of the month both girls are
much more attached to their mother than they were before. Though that
also means temper tantrums when it comes time for the woman to leave. Sithric Sidhefriend Handled in Session Takumir Jachral Takumir levels up and improves his skills. Dragomir & Nalu Laermedylth
will tell Drago that a dragon's power, age, and size are intrinsically
linked. Normally the process is long, but it can be sped up through
sacrifices. Though the matter in which these 'sacrifices' are received,
and what rituals done greatly impacts their effectiveness. Dragomir
tries to learn from Kaevara about summoning Chic Chics, but
unfortunately he isn't able to figure out her bizarre "lessons." Orithar Trisk Fire
and Ice are often talk to each other in whispers that Orithar can never
quite catch. When he addresses them directly they are usually
dismissive, and will comment that he should just bring them blood.
However it is obvious there is more to the weapon than this, but he'll
need to earn their respect before they will share their secrets with
him. Llaegheaubhe
is doing much better, but is still somewhat weak. The sickness took a
toll out of her, and she tells Orithar that the healers aren't sure if
she'll ever be the same as she was before it. At least not without
powerful magic. Hedrin Hedrin practices his abilities and levels up. (Need Elee to determine if Buttercup can/will join Hedrin) Buttercup
will answer the call in exchange for mana, and good will. At least on
occasion. The magic to bring him out isn't easy however. Korak Handled in session. Raven Tonks Rowan (Elee: Research into the Shadow Fey Swan Festival) The
shadow fey maintain two seasons and two forms of rule. The season of
the Winter Court is the crueler one, ruled by the Moonlit King, and it
is a rare occurrence and often a violent one as well. The Summer Court,
ruled by the Queen of Night and Magic (and now her new wife, the Queen
of Witches), is far more prevalent, with a gentler air and manner. Both
monarchs and their nobles dwell in the Shadow Realm. The members of
these courts are referred to generally as lords and ladies (by those who
fear them) and more precisely as the shadow fey, or scáthsidhe. The
Swan Festival is a one where those with good enough status with The
Margreve, or The Shadow Fey might find themselves invited to. Those with
high enough status might be allowed to attend as servants or
bystanders, but generally ordinary people aren't allowed to directly
participate. Those in especially high standing might actually be given a
seat at the table as an invited guest, but barring unusual
circumstances most non-shadow fey must marry into the nobility to get
such an honour. Armour is not permitted at the dance,
but weapons and implements certainly are (but are expected to remain
sheathed unless there is good cause). The seating at the feast is done
strictly by Status, and those with lower Status are seated much farther
away from the royal presence. Conversely those with low status are
treated as children (and may in fact find themselves as such!), or
distant relatives, and are seated in an entirely separate hall. The
feast is almost never ending and includes dishes such as a bell soup, a
snowflake soup, and a sparkling stew usually called goblin stew. The
dishes are often carried to and fro by invisible hands. Raven somehow gets her hands on a menu... Hen Handled in session Hadrian Darkleaf Hadrian receives the blessing, allowing them to go ahead with the wedding. Rendi Theocus Rendi levels up, gaining better control over his pixie abilities. Chikat Stonehaven Chikat
attempts to learn from the pixie, however her methods are confusing,
nonsensical and for the most part downright irritating. It almost seems
like she's more focused on training herself by messing with the poor
Dwerren than actually teaching him. He will need more time to attempt to
grasp the language. Savas Al-Hadar Savas does what he can for Nasaadi. It is evident how much he cares for the girl. (Elee, no response necessary. Just wanted to specify how Savas was spending his downtime). Roland The
death sentence on Roland is lifted, he no longer has to watch over his
shoulder for the heavy footsteps of the Mammoth Warrior. Brognir Brognir receives his promised payment from the White Witch. The rest was handled in session. Phage (Elee: Asking/researching in Thylea for possible missions or quests) I'll be getting up some missions ASAP. Nils Ullstein Nils prepares himself for the trial. Shou Handled in session. Glenn Sturgis (Elee: Asking Larmedylth about Larmedylth's Protection, permission to use it and how to repair it. Also Cidro's bar tab.) Larmedylth will grant permission to use her shield, or more so will make it clear it doesn't bother her one way or the other. Cidro will pile up a tab of 15gp worth of booze, and according the dragon that's "a light month." Cidro says he will go where the alcohol goes. Gork Wolfborn Gork is put to work training some of the other orogs. Thorkell the Tall Thorkell trains his body even further, levelling up. Nasir Al'Rahka Nasir
finally has a breakthrough with the language, where everything seems to
click into place and it all becomes easy after that. Nasir successfully
learns Anuirean. Cordie Cordie levels up. Saorise Handled in session. Tanya Karelovna Tanya levels up. Kobal Kobol spends more and more time training in the darkness, and levels up. Soho Jo Soho Jo reflects on his scales, calling on more strength from Nyssra so that he can do more good, and levels up. Darvius Darvius successfully picks up the secrets of the fey tongue. Cedrych Brightbough (Elee: Asking Tyron about the Silk Scabbard to research purchasing it) Mechanically it would function as an Establishment, but wouldn't grant any benefits beyond that for meta reasons. If you wanted to retire Cedrych so that he could live as life as a wealthy NPC that would be fine, but generally speaking owning a business and the like in our terms is always a "money drain" for one reason or another. Be that the character is expanding their influence or whatever. This makes sure that characters in The Cohort are all adventurers, and those that find a peaceful life outside of that are NPC (and potentially important allies and characters for future parties). Kazimir Volkov Kazimir spends his time at the Last Hope, working the forge and assisting in whatever ways he can. Salazar di Fioretti Salazar
does his best to learn, but Skitter is a language so different than any
other that he makes very little progress this time. Zolis Zolis tries to pick up the local language, though he will need more time to pick up the rules of the grammar.
