Landing Page Gallery 2020

I've been using Roll20 for about 2 and a half years now and have finally taken the plunge into being a DM for the first time.  I had heard about the usefulness of Landing Pages (from my former DM) but want to do more with it than he did so I started digging around and found the previous Landing Page Gallery  which is now closed so I thought I would re-open it with what I have so far. Much of this was influenced by Youtuber GrassWalker I switch out the background depending on the general location, currently they are in an underground tomb. I have a season and time of day tracker with the frame being a token that I can move as the game progresses, so if the player stake a rest or there is a sizable RP section of the game I can easily show the passage of time. I include an objectives board which the players can control - incidentally as the players are given new tasks I have a macro display the new task: These objective boards also include the NPC Token, or if the objective is time sensitive an hour glass. I also have a favor board which shows how the players are (believed to be) thought of by NPCs, organisations or states. The mission log has a brief recap of the previous session, in red i highlight new monsters they came into contact with (which i then release into the Player journal) and and other handouts in blue. The character cards will be used to flag any starting conditions and will later be used to indicate any groups or affiliations they formerly have.  What do you think?  Is there anything I'm missing or you would recommend I include?  As I said, I'm a new DM, I've considered including an XP bar too show players can plan their next level up but I'm not sure if that is too much 'behind the curtain' information.

Thats very nice! Great idea to resurrect this thread, too. I dont see anything wrong with showing an XP Bar, it's something the players would be aware of after all. And it's fun to see others progress and compare yourself to them, if they bars are different.
Beautiful! My own landing page is in dire need of an update, and this gives me the imperative to get started.
Care to share your Objectives macro, by the way? Edit: Damn, I love those phases of the day backgrounds, gotta find those. Also, How do you update the summary text in your chapter summaries?
Jay R. said: Care to share your Objectives macro, by the way? Edit: Damn, I love those phases of the day backgrounds, gotta find those. Also, How do you update the summary text in your chapter summaries?&nbsp; Glad it helps to encourage you're own landing page.&nbsp; Happy to share the macro: [x](<a href="https://i.imgur.com/BvpU7dk.png" rel="nofollow">https://i.imgur.com/BvpU7dk.png</a>) ?{New Objective} It calls a homemade image I've stored on imgur with iconography specific to my campaign, so just replace the url with a different one. The times of day image &nbsp;and frame I found on&nbsp; <a href="http://www.123rf.com" rel="nofollow">www.123rf.com</a> I signed up for a free 1 month subscription to download the high res versions without the water mark (there's also some great parchment and scrolls too) I actually create the entire landing page in GIMP before each session, where I use the font&nbsp;Longdon Decorative to update the exiting parchment layer.&nbsp;&nbsp; In Roll20 the only "loose" assets are the frames for seasons and time, objectives (also created in GIMP) and any NPC tokens for the renown board.
Thanks so much, Rory. I'm not adept at GIMP, so my page will likely not be nearly as beautiful, but this is great to get me started.
