Compendium Content Showing as a Player

This may not be the correct forum, but wasn't sure where it should go. I'm currently in a game as a player. The game was created and DM'ed by another player. The basic setting is very vanilla (mostly new players, myself included), so the only campaign content is the SRD, Essentials Kit, and PHB/MM/DMG. The issue I'm seeing is that I have purchased a few other books here on Roll20 (namely Explorer's Guide and Xanathar's) to look at some of the newer content, but the content from those books is showing up as available in this campaign (e.g. when I level up, the spells from Explorer's and Xanathar's show up as options). Is there a way to prevent this content from showing up in this game? The compendiums don't show that they are shared with this campaign.
I believe your purchased content always shows up for you. It is not shared with others in the campaign.
