I've only just started playing D&D on Roll20 with a new group. I've started leaving my books in the basement and trusting to the content I've purchased on the Roll20 Marketplace. To set the stage, I have purchased the 5e PHB on the Marketplace. When I click on links within the PHB content, I am routinely redirected to buy new, seemingly unrelated content. Here is a video (also demonstrating the slow Roll20 response time typical of a weekend evening) of the effect I'm describing, where I click on a link to Proficiencies, and the Compendium takes me to buy Eberron content on the Marketplace: <a href="http://ss.owenw.com/screencast_2020-05-17_20-30-34.mp4" rel="nofollow">http://ss.owenw.com/screencast_2020-05-17_20-30-34.mp4</a> I have already purchased additional content (Essentials Kit: Compendium) on the Marketplace that has appeared like this, hoping it might "fix" the problem (now having spent way, way too much money on digital content that can't be used off-platform) and it did not. Perhaps I don't understand what is supposed to happen, but I am almost certain that this is not desired. This is not the only link that does this. The resources here are not knit together well enough for me to drop $35 a pop on them. Perhaps if the links inside of an asset remained only within the asset? Or if it warned me that I didn't have the requisite asset when clicking? Or if it just didn't supply links when I didn't have the asset in question? Or mark it somehow differently? In any case, not being able to follow the links significantly reduces the effectiveness of the resource. Maybe someone can explain the benefit of all of this, or how it is supposed to work? Or fix it?
