[LFP] [Call of Cthulhu] GM getting back into the CoC system looking to assemble group of players

Hello to anyone reading this.  I am a relatively experienced GM who has recently found themself wanting to delve back into the Call of Cthulhu tabletop game after years away from it, and I am looking for players who would be interested in the system.  We wouldn't be diving headlong into some immense long-term campaign from the get-go, but rather playing through a series of shorter scenarios, many of which are official products specifically designed for people who are new to the system.  We would most likely be using Discord as a means of communication, it seems safe to assume that the majority of people here on roll20 are familiar with discord, and in terms of group size i'm looking for a total of 4-5 players, I have 2 prospective players already so am looking here for the other 3.  This would be a weekly game, taking place on Friday evenings, most likely starting at 9 EST, although a schedule change could be a possibility depending on people's availability.  I'm not sure if it's prudent to devote too many words here to attempting to "sell" people on Call of Cthulhu, I'm mostly looking for people who have heard of it already or people who haven't and might be curious, although i certainly wouldn't turn away players who already have experience with the system.
What edition and what era?
the most recent edition, 7th.  Probably the classic 1920s era to start
Not sure if I could do every week...but I love CoC and been running it since 1E.  Wouldn't mind a few one-shots just to get that warm fuzzy feeling of tentacles from beyond draining my brain...
When is it going to be? With all the Covid lockdown and organisational mess at University going on, I have a bit of time on my hand. (Ofcourse as long as lockdown lasts after that my schedule would be a bit busy. Would've to look if I still have the time.)
as i said in the original post, it would be on Fridays at 9 pm EST (Eastern Standard Time)
I have 3 people that would be interested in COC on Fridays at 9:00pm.
I'm in for Friday's at 9pm. What campaign were you thinking of running?
I would be down to play... I am not that experienced in CoC have played a hand full of short campaigns/ one shots. However I do play in 2 D&D games weekly for the last 4 years now. I have in the past played a ton of both Vampires, really all of the WoD RPGs... college in a middle of nowhere place with nothing to do... Had never played and RPG's until then LOL
for campaigns/scenarios, i was going to start with some of the very basic starter ones, most likely the two that come in the 7E rulebook, as well as the ones that came with the GM screen pack, there's also a collection of starter scenarios i've been looking at, none of these are long-term campaigns, more like shorter scenarios that should take maybe 2 sessions apiece to clear, but there would be several of them.  I'm not at all adverse to doing a long-term campaign in the future, but I think it would be best for both any players (and myself, it's been years since i last ran CoC) to start with these shorter scenarios as a way of learning the system and getting a feel for it (or re-adjusting to it in my case)
Since it looks like we've got plenty of people showing interest now, I'll post my discord handle here, and people who have further questions can ask me on there.  Discord name is "BarryofDiscord#0500"
