Been playing in one of Shade's campaigns for a while now, and he is a great DM! The world feels very refined with tons of background information, events and intrigue behind the curtain. It is a fully fleshed-out world with tons of opportunity to discover new things! I have been really impressed with the degree to which all the things seem to be connected (NPCs, politics, gods, overall story...). He creates custom maps and NPCs, and adapts to whatever (parts of the) party want to do. He is fair and combat is engaging, however if you screw up, your character might pay the price. But even if you do crazy stuff (like let's say riding a tiger down a very steep and slippery sewage pipe into a bunch of ghouls), he still comes up with innovative rules and adaptations on the fly, to make it a great experience. Spoiler alert, we smashed a bunch of ghouls and almost killed our druid in the process, resulting in our druid creating this masterpiece: Thus far each of our sessions have been great fun, and I can only recommend him as a dungeon master! I wish you many great experiences molded by Shade! :)

These sessions are the highlight of my week! The game is incredibly fun, rich and immersive; with crazy cool items (like a crossbow with a canister of venom, or firey brass knuckles) and creatures (we almost got killed by a death knight the other day), as well as an immense and varying setting that offers a lot of RP if one chooses to engage (I bought a hookah, and now smoke spices), alongside great combat. The DM is awesome - friendly, nice and helpful whenever you need anything. The game runs very smoothly, the players can do all kinds of crazy stuff, at their own peril of course. I could not recommend more!
I have been playing with Shade for few sessions so far and I love it. His world is great, so are his NPC and even homebrew items. Really, you name it he has it. Even when our group does something stupid he always makes it into a great RP opportunity. Never thought I would say this but even full shoping session was really fun. I am really happy I got choosen into his game.

No dull RP moments and always a great story and fights.
Can't really add anything that hasn't already been said by someone else, been playing in Shade's game for a while now and I only have words of praise to give. Really detailed and expansive world, engaging combat and interesting encounters, well thought out NPCs that allow for satisfying roleplay, and good storytelling overall. He also applies smart, but sometimes heavy consequences for players' actions (I speak from experience, our party has gotten themselves into some deep trouble over a single combat encounter fairly early on in the game) which adds to realism and the overall immersion of the game. Despite that, the game isn't overly serious and there's always room to crack a few jokes, or do something stupid (as long as you don't overdo it). All in all, I am very happy with both the DM and the players, our sessions really tend to be the "highlight of the week" for me and I am always looking forward for the next game.
