LFG: New player looking for group open to beginners

Hi, I am very interested in playing some tabletop RPGs, and I miss the group I used to have since I moved and no longer have anyone to play with. I have experience only with homebrew and the cult classic Riddle of Steel. Riddle of Steel is an extremely dense ruleset (and probably the most realistic combat to date) so difficulty is not an issue. I am available for very long periods of time, 12pm-3am Central throughout the week. I've read a fair amount on D&D 4e so I can pick that up (more) quickly, but I am willing to try anything.

I'm looking for players for a d10 game called Monsters and Other Childish things. You take the role of a normal-ish kid that for some odd reason has a monster as his best friend. Pretty much you and a bunch of other kids with monsters team up to fight other more scary monsters and the like. I plan for it to be on Fridays or Sundays but the time it open to change.
