Campaign Interest?

I was wondering if there is any interest in a Battletech style game. Large robot tactical campaign. Let me know what everyone think's
I'd definitely be interested!
So, more of a Robots and Power Armor gladitorial style game?  Going from match fight to match fight?
I imagine it to be more adding the lines of "the players are pilots of an Armored unit, composed entirely of Robots and Power Armor." Depending on the origins of the unit, there's a whole host of campaign and session possibilities.  Think about it: an Armored Company in RIFTS, non-CS, effectively a mercenary unit.  Depending on the leadership, they could go around defending settlements, using their Mecha to help build settlements.  So on and so forth.
Interested.  Do we have an approx game time?
There hasn't even been a group out together.  RQ asked about interest in such a thing, and your and I are the only 2 to have commented publicly.

If it's Macross or more SAMAS than Glitter-boy if we're RIFTing I wouldn't mind giving it a shot :) PST (UTC/GMT -7) here. Or were we taking about Mechwarrior or actually Battletech?
Sounds interesting
Yeah, I've been kicking the idea around I don't have anything concert... Just figure id throw the line out and see who bits. I didn't want to put a lot of effort if there was no interest. So I guess I should get started then... Stay tuned..
I’d be interested. Although, it would depend on the day and time.
Please do......;-)
Interesting - sounds like fun
so.. I'm guessing no metal sirens lol
What the shit is a metal siren? lol
Wel i was going to go on and on about this that or the other but pics are worth lots of words lol
Its Just a beast of a variable fighter
I personally thing that any non-PA Mecha (RIFTS Robot vehicles, Veritech fighters and DESTROIDS from Maccross, etc) would be acceptable in this campaign.  It would depend on the unit, however, and it's mission/'purpose.  A heavy artillery group *MIGHT* employ a selection of Veritech for defense / spotting.

Yeah I kinda agree  the only reason i mention the MetalSiren is its the extreme As far as mechs go for performance and versatility. Although from the idea of a interdimensional mecha group it'd be handy as hell. Plus you know it can mount pylon missile like lrm's for first strike situations. Its just a brutal war machine that can do a lot. And with one of those phazeworld fighter light speed booster sleds it can be an excellent scout.
Actually, it all depends on the "effect" Rage is lookin' for.  Keep in mind, the vast majority of robots require more than 1 person to pilot it properly.  If he is looking for and "Armored Column"  of 5 independent mechanized pieces, there will probably be more than 1 PA.  As was mentioned, the old style SAMAS would be a great flying option, as would the Black Knight, if flight was a manditory feature.
I personally like the idea of being the crew Commander of a multi person Mecha, like the Maccross Destroids.
damn auto correct meant inter-dimensional
