API for accessing game data externally

I’ve always wanted to do combat in tabletop simulator (https://store.steampowered.com/app/286160/Tabletop_Simulator/) but all the sheets and assets of my campaigns are in roll20. It would be nice to have an API so I can access game data from external sources so I can write an integration mod for TTS.

so, you want Roll20 to collaborate with their competitor?

How are they competitors? They fill different niches. Collaborating would make them both better.

External APIs that allow integration with other platforms isn't unheard of. Allowing you to get at assets that are in Roll20 via an API would be cool, with authentication and authorization of course.

Yes, of course with authentication.
