(Ee-mong) - The Hermit Legend Game Summary for Saturday (05/23/2020): Opening Scene: Day 13: May 14th;
9:30 am Three members of the party, are
inside the ruins of the Shrine of Savras, an old stone temple with a belfry,
standing in the middle of a vast flat and open field, north of the rocky
foothills of the Sword Mountains. The rest of the party is hiding
back inside the forest north of the shine. Zar’Tharkus and Prayn Vigim,
along with Rogar as their prisoner are talking to a group of displaced orcs,
with the idea of getting them to trade rather than raid the village of
Conyberry. Prayn was willing to resort to challenge the Orc leader to single
combat, to take the tribe and make them leave. Prayn basically saying, "Your leader died because of the white dragon,
help us kill it, you avenge yo leader, and we may be able to make some peace
with the village enough for y'all to get supplies" The Orc Leader agrees to the
arrangement and says the group can leave and to take some prisoner that they
have, named Skywise, a high elf wizard by trade, with them. When
asked about the rumored Orcs at Wyvern Tor Mountain, the Orc Leader says, “ They follow another path. When we
fled, our people tended to bunch with those they saw as a new leader and we
thus splintered up and now roam the countryside." The group, heads back into the
forest to the last know hidden location of their comrades, finds them and tells
of the deal with the orcs and introduce the wizard Skywise to the others. At this point the party could go
back to Conyberry (2 hour trip), to inform
the village of the deal or head to Wyvern Tor mountain. Sildar Hallwinter informs the
party that Old Owl Well, the location prospectors have been saying is infected
with undead, is 15 miles south east of the Shrine of Savras and that Wyvern
Tor, (the rumored location of orcs), which the party can see from the Triboar
Trail is another dozen or so miles south of that. The group decides to head back
to Conyberry first. Once there, they stop inside the Fewmets Inn, run by twin
brothers, Bob and Zach Zeissin. Prayn, orders 3 whole limes,
Roqar orders a whole bottle of wine. Pryn eats a lime while Roqar drinks
straight from the bottle. Skywise, informs the party he
was kept inside the west wing of the Shrine of Savras while orc children were
kept inside the main chamber. The group meets a fellow name
Travok Lighbearer, a dwarf cleric at the inn and Roqar, now munching down a
plate of venison and veggies, offers him and Skywise to join the group as they
head down to Old Owl Well to see about the roaming undead situation. The town is informed of the deal
with the Orcs and Prayn has a messenger send a note to town leader Harbin
Wester back in Phandalin as well. The message: : "Dear, Harbin Wester, I write to you as a member of the
party hired to deal with the local orcs at the shrine. We've managed to,
surprisingly enough, come to an agreement with them. They've offered their arms
in dealing with the other threat of the townsfolk, the wyvern, and in exchange
we have agreed to try to set up trade with the nearby towns as payment, as they
are desperate for a home and that may be a major cause for their recent
outlashes. Please refrain from any further aggression with that specific tribe
for now, and we may have a peaceful resolution at our hands. -sincerely, Prayn
Vigim." Skywise and Travok, accept the
offer to head down to Old Owl Well and Wyvern Tor, as Prayn went to the general
store to buy 3 flasks of oil. When town business is done the
party sets out, heading south to the Old Owl Well site, around 1:45 pm, a trip
that will take the party 21 hours to reach, (15 hours through foothills, [1 hex
of 5 miles = 5 hours], and 6 more through plains [1 hex of 5 miles = 2 hours]).
They stop to break camp for the night at about 8:45 pm (Hiked for 6 of 21
hours). Adventure Time is now May 14 th , at
8:45 pm. And this ends the gaming session
