After a week of attending to their personal business, the group receives a mysterious letter claiming that the king needs their assistance. After verifying that the seal on the letter is the Royal Spymaster's seal with Captain McKinnon, the party is tasked to investigate and stop any cultist activity in the town of Himselone. Upon arrival, they discuss with the locals and verify that cultists have been there, but apparently rather than awakening a local imprisoned god they have (either purposely or accidentally) unleashed a horde of undead upon the town, who surround the town every night.
