Specific Packs needed for more Tokens?

So I just found out I could drag out tokens from the compendium, but I also noticed that I could only do it to some tokens. Is this maybe because I have to buy the Monster Manual on roll20 or different books where the monsters are from? I'm just a bit confused because the tokens are in the character sheet but I cant drag them out, I have to upload them myself and then use them.

Some specific examples might help. Monsters from the SRD have no token art, but monsters from a compendium (ex: Monster Manual) or a Module (ex: Curse of Strahd) will. Modules will put a copy of a resident monster in your journal tab. Once it is in your game, even if you drag out an SRD monster from the Compendium, Roll20 will say "Oh, there's already a goblin in this game" and give you a copy of the module goblin with art. If you don't have a monster from a compendium, Module, or Addon, you will need to upload your own art. Let me know if this doesn't address your situation and we can investigate further.

I think this explains my issue, so I will either have to buy modules and get lucky with there being new tokens in it, or I'll have to upload the tokens myself right?
