Hey all! I want to see if there is any interest in my game. I plan on running a campaign, levels 1-15, it will be a mix of Storm King's Thunder and Tyranny of Dragons. It will mainly be SKT with a sprinkling of ToD. For character creation we will be using only Standard Array or Point Buy BUT, will start with a level 1 feat as well as having access to the Floating Modifier rule. What is the Floating Modifier rule you ask, well... Lets say you choose Wood Elf, which has +2 in Dex and +1 in Wis. You have the option to move up to 1 point from any score and put it in another to a max of 2. So say you want to play a more wise Wood Elf, you can take 1 point from Dex and put it into Wis, or say you want to play a more intelligent character, you can move the 1 point from Wis to Int OR take one point from Dex and put it into Int. What you CAN NOT do is take the point from Wis and put it into Dex for a total of 3. With the level 1 feat and the Floating Modifier option i think its fair to restrict Ability Scores to the non-rolling options. A campaign running from levels 1-15 is going to be a long game, and so, good group dynamic is going to be crucial. In session zero when characters are created, I ask that each player have some connection with at least one other player. Im looking to play Saturdays around 9AM EST. for a group of 4-5 players.
