Greetings, I have recently been using Roll20 to play board games, in addition to RPGs. In many board games there is a blind bidding mechanic. In some games it works like this: players take a number of tokens in their hand, secretly choose how many to bid, hold that number of tokens out in a closed fist, and all players then open their hands simultaneously to reveal the bids. Unless I am missing something there does not seem to be a way in Roll20 to accomplish this currently. If I am wrong, please instruct me. One simple idea on how to accomplish this, if the campaign is using tokens for bidding, has created these tokens as a deck in the Decks & Tables tab, and has set it so that players cannot see these tokens in each other's hands, is to allow players to select multiple items from their hands and drop them simultaneously to the tabletop. This way each player could select how many tokens they would like to bid, and they could all drop them on the tabletop at the same time to reveal the bids. As far as I can tell, as it is now, one must drag each item from one's hand individually. Another idea is to add a full bidding mechanic, in which one could right click on one's hand and enter a value for how many tokens to bid in a bidding pop up window. Cheers.
