Is there a way to make a macro that drops the best result and keeps second best but not the others? i want to roll 6d10 and keep second and third best results thank you for your time!
I don't know of a way to automatically just reduce output to those 2 dice, but you could sort them and make it easy to pick them out that way. /roll 6d10sd The sd is "sort descending".
You could even keep the top 3, and just manually discard the top one. /roll 6d10sdkh3 That's the best you can do. There's no way to drop the highest and keep the next two.
You could use this: /roll 6d10sddh1kh3 It will roll the 6d10, sort them into descending order and drop the highest 1 and keep the highest 3... effectively leaving only the 2nd and 3rd highest result not greyed out :)
I was sure I'd tried it before, I wonder if behaviour has changed - though they dont make changes to the roll code, so its unlikely. Then again we have that new $[[0]] 'feature' so who knows.
