Assigning pre-made character sheets to players before the game begins?

Hi everyone! Haven't played D&D in close to ten years and I recently decided to get back into it with a group of friends who all have very limited experience (myself included). It's been a long time for everyone involved, so we're starting off with Lost Mine of Phandelver and the premade characters it offers. I've had a few players ask if they can check out their characters before the game begins and I'd love to know how to assign the character sheets to my four players, but I can't figure it out. This is my first time using Roll20 and I've gone through a few YouTube videos and the KB articles but I'm not having any luck. I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me out. I easily find the character sheets in the journal, but that's as far as I'm able to get. Thanks very much.

I dont think you can assign characters to players until they have logged into the campaign at least once. I dont know that module, but if it doesnt have a beginning page, create a blank map and move the player ribbon to it. So when players log in, thats the page they'll see - and wont see any of the adventure content. Then you can edit the characters to assign them to players, and they can log in at any time to view them.

You can assign character sheets to "all players", and later change them to only be assigned individually after they have joined.
Thank you both for the help.
