Image and text Alignment

Hi, sorry if this was answered before but i couldn't find the right answer for my case. I want to put an image in the Handout or Character and put in the right or left side with the text next to it. I have seen it can be done but i can´t do it myself. Reading some answers people say "right click the image" but i get no particular options by doing that, just the typical right click options i get in every browser page (Back, View, refresh, etc,). The other thing i read was to use the table but when i put the text it use most of the table and it gives me a little space for the image (same if i do it with the image first) and if i want to adapt the image it just enlarges it in the space it has, it doesn´t let me adjust the width fo every column. Thanks in advance and i´ll add the clasiccal "sorry for my bad english" PD: the image is a signed letter i found in internet

I dont know about your specific case, but in my experience, the in-game roll20 editor is atrocious for any kind of formatted layout that involves more than text after text. The best way to do fancy formats in roll20 (and yes, even this simple layout counts as 'fancy' for roll20) IMO is to do your formatting in an editor outside of roll20, then paste it in. If its a compatible editor (and most WYSYWIG programs, like microsoft word, are), the formatting will be preserved. Just dont edit again afterwards.

Hi, thanks for the reply I did what you said and now I guess I can have the text next to the “image” but…..the image is always broken no matter if I choose one from internet or my pc. Maybe I have to be a paid user to have that option or something like that? Im out of ideas

Being paid makes no difference here - sorry I wasnt more help. One thing to try: dont use a linked image. In whatever program you originally formatted it, copy the image from the net and paste it into your document. Get it how you like, then paste it into roll20.

I guess i´ll have to keep it simple then, no idea how people do it. I saw it in youtube and it looks sooo much better. Nevertheless, i truly appreciate it, thanks.
