Telling the difference?

I'm relatively new to GMing on this platform, and I'm having trouble telling the difference between modules, and add-ons. Is there an easy way to do this?
The best way is the Marketplace page for the item. If you scroll down to the Accessing Your Content section, it should identify it as a module or an add-on. Add-ons can be added to an existing game, and tend to be smaller than modules. Modules are large, so adding them to an existing game could be problematic, so you can only build a new game using the module as a starting point.
